What an amazing experience. Fishing where the River meets the Sea. Spectacular scenery, company and fishing. In this episode were fishing at East Gippsland at the magnificent Bemm River. We hire a boat and beach the boat right at the entrance. From here we caught some amazing fish using ultra light finesse gear in what is a cinematic and action packed episode.

Hi, man, thanks for your tips to add scent, i got some x factor, applied on zman 2.5 bloodworm, just got a 51 pinkie from Wyndham harbour, with a 4 pound leader and 6pound braid, it was a good fight, thank you again

that looked so much fun, wounder why you didnt try in the surf ,that was a deep looking area close to the shore ,bet there would have been some fish feeding long there ?? ,great vid again thanks looks like the boys enjoyed the day too :)

Thanks John, Yeah the plan was for us to do day 2 fishing the surf. We took a drone with a bait dropper unfortunately the drone malfunctioned at the end of day 1 and plummeted into the drink so that messed up our plans but we caught some really impressive flathead and tailor the next day instead

I was up there at the end of last year 10km down the road at salmon Point. I caught my Pb salmon and my Pb flathead there. Spewing I diddent go to the river mouth

Its an awesome place, id love to spend more time fishing a lot more of the bay, estuaries and rivers there.

2 more places I recommend near Mudgee apart from the cudgeong river are Lawson Park which would be a good place to bring kids cause it has a Park and a river to fish in, then there's Windemere Dam which is about 20 mins away from Mudgee and a very nice place to fish. As I'm sure you know Mudgee is in NSW

Question, do you find soft plastics less effective on packed wharves? Where there is heavy burley going on

Nah not really in general the soft plastics work really well. Ive been on wharves and piers plenty of times where people are berleying hard and not catching as much as what were getting on the plastics.
