Man, this made me feel really good. Been watching you guys about 12 years now and in that time I've grown from a 20 year old kid to a grown ass man with 2 kids of my own. It's so insane to think about it. I remember before you got married, and then later when you had desmond. Nothing marks the passage of time like a child. How they slowly evolve from a creature 100 percent reliable on you to an adult with a career, every stage in between so vastly different. My own son just turned 15 and my daughter 13, where as my step kids that i raised since 4 and 5 can legally drink. Sunrise, sunset

It's funny seeing Josh, a grown adult, more versed in the lore of this children's show than the actual child. Des seems unfamiliar with a lot of the aliens from Ben's teenage years, so I'm unclear if Des prefers the original _Ben 10_ series and then stopped watching when the timeskip came around, or if he's a fan of the reboot series where they start from scratch and Ben is actually 10 again, but lots of stuff about it is different. I admit, the first scenario is funnier to imagine, as it means there's this kid who prefers the old-school stuff and doesn't care as much for the "newfangled" _Ben 10._
