Just some context for juryrigg's fighter pilot design back during wwii airplanes had a habit of breaking down and either as a tongue in cheek joke or actual superstition gremlins were blamed for those break downs and juryrigg is based on a gremlin

Yes, Juryrigg is wearing a pilot attire. That's because Juryrigg as a design and as a concept is based on the legend of the Gremlings, which originated when back in WW2, many planes would just randomly malfunction mid-flight, and when checking them, they were most of the time lacking some pieces of machinery that the technicians remember adding in. This lead to people telling legends about little goblin-like creatures sabotaging the planes called 'Gremlings'. Juryrigg's inspiration is pretty obvious; He's a goblin and he sabotages and rebuilds machines. The pilot attire is just another reference to the legend.

Also, I looked more into it after I made that comment, and the historical ww2 rumor of gremlins is pretty fascinating. They also were featured in more Looney Tunes cartoons than that Bugs Bunny one. I recently just watched one called Russian Rhapsody, which was about russian gremlins destroying a plane Adolf Hitler was piloting that was on its way to bomb Moscow.

Well here’s the thing about the show’s silly episodes: Ben 10 Omniverse is the only show that has a new genre added into the mix which is “Comedy” the last 3 shows have the same genres of Action, Adventure, Sci Fi, Family but Omniverse has an official Comedy genre into it, so you can see where the show has a big amount of Filler Episodes for silly Laughs The simple answer about that statement is that, the show doesn’t take place at night anymore like the last 2 shows and Yuri Lowenthal has put more Enthusiasm into his role, brightly Colorful style, and went back being kid friendly oriented again like the original did, while still having dark moments and heavily serious episodes That’s all as far as I know

This was the first Omniverse episode I had genuine problems with. Both Hokestar and Pax were very irritating throughout and Pax especially was not a neccessary addition. I remember loving how wild florauna (Wildvines) were portrayed as these vicious, predatory plant aliens in Secret Of The Omnitrix, so seeing one come up and go full hippie just feels like a slap in the face. I'm not saying they all have to be full-on monsters, they can probably talk since Ben can too whenever he's Wildvine, but they didn't need to lean all the way into the tree-hugger trope. And that's one of my biggest gripes with the show, sometimes it feels like they just go in full-force on a joke, for better or for worse. Played as another comedic moment, the scene where Ben rapidly changes aliens from Jury Rigg to Grey Matter to Nanomech to Bloxx is funny, but complete breaks how the Omnitrix works. So whenever we see Ben turning into a wrong alien, we now know he could've totally transformed again, instead of wasting time as that alien, especially frustrating when looking back at all the moments Ben mistransformed in Omniverse, like getting Spidermonkey instead of Humongousaur, or NRG and Clockwork instead of XLR8.

Most of the time, Ben chooses to transform into Human form, in certain moments we can see that he turns from an alien to Human to alien Example: heatblast to ben, to terraspin The watch recharges instantly when his life is in danger

not spoiler: i don't remember the in-universe explaination for the constant quick-changes in omniverse but production wise, this was probably done 'cause they wanted to actually use properly the over-70 aliens that Ben has at that point, that's why the transformations are instantenous (without any animated sequence i mean) and why he changes so much in the episodes but in change, it seems like the omnitrix has very limited power/time. My favorite explanation is that Ben simply likes to change to human on purpose to re-check the situation and choose better

For me, the Ma Vreedle episode in Ultimate Alien was the weirdest episode of Ben 10. I think what helps this one is that the action and humor kept it plenty entertaining this time around. The part where Ben keeps slapping the omnitrix until getting a good alien is something I'd been wanting to see for a long time, and it got a good chuckle out of me when it finally happened.

Probably my least favorite episode of Season 1. It's cool that we met another one of Wildvine's species, but he's also pretty annoying. Hokestar is just kind there, I can take him or leave him. Although it was cool to see plenty of aliens in this episode. We have the OV debut of 5 different aliens. The good news is, next time is when shit gets real!

Hokestar is a good character Kuro just stupid and a baby. Sunder got a new design and all I got to say is he looks awful like he was legit a villain who cut Ben's hand off now he is more of a joke villain. Soild Plugg was first shown in episode 1 as a cameo when Ben was Cannonbolt and Fighting the Plumbers before Max throws his food at him in episode 5. What I like about OV is they show more transformations then UAF & OS. Jury Rigg is now voiced by Bumper Robinson. This episode was good but I think a lot of us were just not fans of the art change like myself plus I was so shocked because I watch OV in airing order and was like OMG Grey Matter's back. I also fought that was Kevin who was driving that car LOL.
