You know what's weird? In the original series Vilgax was strong enaugh to crack Diamondhead's skin. But in Alien Force when he's even stronger he was defeated by Diamondhead.

@@kristelvidhi5038 keep in mind that version of Diamond Head was made of the chromastone crystals as well as the normal diamond crystals, classic diamond bolt was both younger and less durable. As for Ben 10,000, he never removed the omnitrix so he kept the classic design his whole life, meaning no upgrade and no chromastone. In a fight between AF diamond bolt and Ben 10,000 diamond bolt AF would win every time

The Omnitrix takes a DNA sample of alien species and when a user turns into that said alien; it WILL be in its utmost prime form. As he’s getting older and more efficient with the Omnitrix he can learn new abilities with the aliens for sure. Ben’s aliens are not getting stronger as he gets older his aliens will always be at their prime; you cannot get them any stronger than that. That comment is irrelevant. There is no proof that Chromastone is fused with Diamondhead. Never was said anywhere in the show or backed up by a legit source.

People say that Vilgax in Alien Force wasn’t as strong as Vilgax in the original series, but a part of me disagrees. Like for example, during the heroes challenge, Vilgax was able to meet Humungousaur’s punch with his own and that caused a massive shockwave. I think the shockwave was far stronger than we are lead to believe and here’s my reasoning. It is shown not much later that while things can enter through the shield from the outside, once in they can’t leave, which means that the shockwave had to travel through the ground as we saw pieces of debris fall from the buildings. Something that also backups my idea is that we heard the shield whine or I guess pulse a moment after Vilgax’s and Humungousaur’s (sized up) punches met. So I don’t know how much force it took, but it must have been a lot for the shockwave to pass through the ground and still be able to shake skyscrapers. And if the shield is actually a sphere and not a dome and the buildings still shook from the shockwave, I can only imagine how strong Vilgax really is.

He was able to defeat vilgax in alien force but not in the classic one because in the classic series Ben hasn't mastered over his aliens as much he does in the alien forces. It's like playing a video game with a character. In the starting, your character is at very low level but in long run the level of your character increases and so his power and your experience with it. Same happened with Ben's Diamondhead. At the first he was owned by Vilgax but as the time passed, Ben got mastered and more experienced with Diamondhead, so next time Vilgax fought him, he wooped his ass.

I still don't like a lot of Ben 10 AF season 3 and Diamondhead easily beating Vilgax is one of those things. Sure, in Ben 10 classic, Diamondhead was nothing in front of Vilgax and Vilgax's armor was too strong even for Diamondhead. Of course, as Ben got older plus his training, he is much better with Diamondhead. But I still don’t see AF Ben Diamondhead overpowering Vilgax, but definitely holding his ground. Don’t forget that Vilgax is supposed to be nearly invulnerable, especially in AF. In AF, he has absorbed the powers of 10 greatest heroes of 10 planets. He is supposed to be even more OP. That’s why I say it’s just bad writing.
