We are all human and so is Ben. Let us please give him credit for working towards sobriety, working again and on many human, tender subjects as Tender Bar. I applaud him and happy for his finding his rekindled love, Jennifer Lopez. His marriage broke up because he was/is an alcoholic - in/out of rehab...Jen did not want that for her children & finally divorced him... She also selflessly, drove Ben, the father of her children, to rehab, after they were divorced...Over a year ago, he stated he regretted the divorce... Also while on JK, he NEVER clarified what he meant by making that horrible comment & didn't apologize....Ben thinks he's done no wrong & spoke as if he didn't understand why there is backlash against him... The song 'People hurt People' is so real in this world of Social media pushing people down by judging them on their past or mistakes. Stop judging Ben and let him find his way in life. Imagine you fall in life at times and you try to pull yourself together but others push you down with negativity and always remember the mistakes. Not knowing how hard you try to change to better your life. 'People hurt People' by their negative judgements that's why so many commit suicide or going down in the gutter. Please Stop and let the Man breathe life freely and show some respect by saying words that Inspire and Uplift rather then breaking people's spirit. Life isnt an easy ride we fall we get up and we fall and push through and a positive kind word can change a life. No one is perfect in this world so let's try to look by heart with compassion, and empathy not just the eyes.. Thank You.. Love, Respect and Peace from South Africa 💖✌️🇿🇦

He wanted out of that marriage, and she didn’t; that triggered his alcoholism because he did not want to be with her anymore; he didn’t love her anymore. Still, she didn’t want to let him go, which is how Ben started drinking again; she kept him on a leash using the “kids” excuse until she finally had enough of him going off the rails (due to being trapped). If she felt trapped, trust that she would’ve signed the divorce paper longgggg ago, she still loved him, he did not. Now he’s free and happy, what he had wanted for a very long time. His statement was taken out of context in all the tabloids. Shame on you for talking down on alcoholism which is a disease that was passed on to Ben from his father. There are levels, and he had it controlled while he was with JLo 1.0, then it was out of control during his marriage and now back to normal now that he’s happy. He praised her, he even said she told him to get help, and he agreed. I get what Ben said about his ex wife. Truth is there is no pretty way to say it. He felt stuck in a marriage and stayed for the sake of the kids. It’s something that many marriages are going through.

I don't know about "waffling". But he was addressing something serious and very personal that had JUST happened and was THE elephant in the room. To have to bring this kind of thing up on Kimmel would be awkward, at best, for absolutely anyone in his position. But I think he did an admirable job getting his thoughts and feelings across and just speaking his piece.

The most important thing is Ben looks much happier and relaxed without Jennifer and I am sure she is without him. So it’s all good. Whoever’s fault it is only them two know. It’s usually six of one and half a dozen of the other in these situations. I like seeing relaxed and happy Ben
2 жыл бұрын
I thought you said him and Jennifer broke up again. Then I figured that you're not referring to Jennifer Lopez. However I don't see a relaxed happy guy, I see an anxious half wasted wreck in this interview.

@ 😀too many Jennifers I guess. Well I guess it’s a perception thing. I wouldn’t want to say what I see when I look at the other half of this equation because I don’t want to seem unfair but I guess we see what we see and it’s good that we all see different things in then same thing. Makes for an interesting world I guess.

When discussing the controversy that his comments about his ex received he couldn't even look Jimmy in the eyes and kept closing his eyes. After moving on... full eye contact. Interesting.....
@marieoy21812 жыл бұрын
Definitely could mean something, idk him or how he is in real life or as a person. But I too have a hard time opening up & sometimes the eye contact makes you feel more vulnerable. Also my mom does that, closes her eyes, when she’s trying to concentrate on what she’s saying to word it correctly. So it coulllldddd be something else?

Dear world, PLEASE CALM DOWN. About everything. As far as Ben, when I listened to the interview, I heard that his marriage wasn't good, drinking is how he coped, personally admitted unhealthfully and irresponsibly, and I didn't hear blaming his wife for all that. If you want to lob stones, can you take just as hard of a stab at your own life first? I'm sick of the stone throwing of cancel culture. World full of saints, I tell ya.

Let's be honest. JG was the rebound after him and JLo once he got her pregnant he felt trapped like he had to stay. I like JG but she ain't what he wanted and that's ok. Y'all hate JLo I get it she has had plenty men but don't act like she messed up his marriage cus she didn't. And as soon as both were available Ben hurried back to her in no time. Nothing wrong they were both single. It is what it is and no point in growing old alone. The kids will be ok because what some of y'all don't get is kids see when you are unhappy I rather my parent be happy elsewhere than in the home miserable.
