He never said anything negative about his ex wife, he never talks badly about her like ever since I’ve been following him. He praised her, he even said she told him to get help, and he agreed. And that if he continued in that marriage it wouldn’t have done him any good bc he would have kept self destructing, he was unhappy, they grew apart. That’s it. It happens.❤️

Not knowing how hard you try to change to better your life. 'People hurt People' by their negative judgements that's why so many commit suicide or going down in the gutter. Please Stop and let the Man breathe life freely and show some respect by saying words that Inspire and Uplift rather then breaking people's spirit. Life isnt an easy ride we fall we get up and we fall and push through and a positive kind word can change a life. If he was truly concerned about his kids, he NEVER would have made that horrible statement about JG, in the first place. His marriage broke up because he was/is an alcoholic - in/out of rehab...Jen did not want that for her children & finally divorced him... She also selflessly, drove Ben, the father of her children, to rehab, after they were divorced...Over a year ago, he stated he regretted the divorce... Also while on JK, he NEVER clarified what he meant by making that horrible comment & didn't apologize....Ben thinks he's done no wrong & spoke as if he didn't understand why there is backlash against him... It’s the only reason I hardly click on things, but sometimes the curiosity can get me from time to time. But overall clickbait is mean and it’s rude to those it “reports” on. Ultimately I left because the whole thing just wasn’t my scene. But I’m so glad he spoke up. Now I want to hear the full interview. He wanted out of that marriage, and she didn’t; that triggered his alcoholism because he did not want to be with her anymore; he didn’t love her anymore. Still, she didn’t want to let him go, which is how Ben started drinking again; she kept him on a leash using the “kids” excuse until she finally had enough of him going off the rails (due to being trapped). If she felt trapped, trust that she would’ve signed the divorce paper longgggg ago, she still loved him, he did not. Now he’s free and happy, what he had wanted for a very long time. His statement was taken out of context in all the tabloids. Shame on you for talking down on alcoholism which is a disease that was passed on to Ben from his father. There are levels, and he had it controlled while he was with JLo 1.0, then it was out of control during his marriage and now back to normal now that he’s happy. I was surprised at the response to his words actually. I didn’t hear him saying it was her fault. It was the marriage. That’s made up of two. It’s the situation. But then again,, he was guilty no matter what he said in the eyes of some people.

Are you serious? He literally blamed his drinking problem on his marriage with her. And he said if he has not left her and still stayed married to her, he would still be drinking right now. He basically said leaving her helps him stop drinking. Despite the fact that his alcoholism started 4 years before he even married her. I think most people take offense to him associating his drinking problems with being married to her. Sure he said she is a good mom and all. But he basically said he was drinking because he was unhappy married to her. He should have left his ex-wife out of the picture when he was talking about his drinking problem.

@@JK-zu1np he didn’t blame his drinking problems on her, he said the problems they were having were causing him to relapse. Two completely different things.

If a person is unhappy in their marriage, be civil and leave before things get out of hand and he didn’t, that’s his downfall no need to blame anyone or anything, just go and get peace of mind.
