Thank you so much for that. I’m looking forward to getting back out to Ben Crom on a real good day to see what it looks like 👍

A beautiful glow to the early morning sky☀ and a lovely atmosphere with the mist floating around. Ben Crom is a great top with those views straight down to the Reservoir and Doan isn't far behind👍 Definitely not too 'family friendly' with that weather - still seems to be never ending wind and rain!

Cheers Gerry, what started out a cracking early morning ended up a rather challenging day. We didn’t get to see Ben Crom in all it’s glory but it gives us more reason to get back out to it. Your right about the wind and rain at the moment, hopefully we will get more sunshine in the next few weeks 👍.

Great hike out for you guys. Spring is finally on its way. Been a wet one! Think I'm getting webbed feet!

Thank you so much for watching. Yea it has felt like it’s been raining for four month’s constantly. I hope your right about spring. I’d say you definitely think you’ve webbed feet. Have you any big runs planned over the spring/summer time?

Them low passing clouds looks class. Great going lads good hike sometimes it's good to get out in the bad weather. Makes you appreciate the sunny days more when we get them. Ah Guinness bread that sounds really nice I'll have to ask my mother to make me some 😂

Yea Adrian you need to get out and experience all weathers like you say when the better days come you appreciate it more. The Guinness bread is really nice but I’d rather have it grilled with melted cheese. The clouds where coming and going over Bearnagh and you could see the peaks at stages but glad we done Doan because I wouldn’t fancy being caught out on Bearnagh. Cheers for watching 👍

Great video. I remmber from ott carpark doing doan up n dwn the silent valley side headed for ben crom mountain n bck to ott. Was tuff terrain wit them islands i call them around ben crom.

Yea Andrew islands probably is t the worst terminology to call them, you’ve probably nailed it there. Definitely slows the walk down. But worth going out on a good clear day I think.

I was up on bearnagh late same day and parked in same lot as you.... just started 930am. That storm was scary.

It certainly was John. The wind was fierce, fair play to you for doing Bearnagh. Cheers for watching 👍

Hi Dave, yes last Saturday whereabouts did you camp, down at the reservoir? Just looking back on my photographs we would have been at the summit at 8.15.
@adventurousdavee7 ай бұрын
@@GeoffGreenawayOutdoors yeah down at the waters edge 👍
