I wonder if the symbol of the 3 legs is related to the symbol of the 3 hares, found in many old Devon churches. Both have the same triangular shaped formation and circular motion. The legs are connected in the center. The hares are connected in the center by sharing their ears

Question: Car Ferries to Isle of Man...how much is the fare for vehicle & adult passengers? Do Islanders pay a reduced rate, and what is that, if so?
@bm77603 жыл бұрын
www.steam-packet.com/ and, no, islanders get reamed too. Apparently the most expensive ferry crossing in the world. Go in summer when you can get the fast ferry from Liverpool.

"The longest steam train line in Britain"? The Isle of Man is not in Britain.
@creationsxl29797 жыл бұрын
yediveren771 although heavily disputed it is a state of Britain so yes it is in Britain
@LinkTheFusky6 жыл бұрын
britain refers to anything in the UK including Northern Ireland so the isle of man is indeed the longest steam train line in Britain its also why it's called the British isles instead of the Isle of Britain because its multiple islands
@Person012346 жыл бұрын
This comment thread is utterly fucking retarded. The Island is not in the UK but "britain" here clearly refers to the british isles, which it is part of. And the UK is not synonymous with the british isles (Ireland is part of the British Isles). Britain could also refer to "Great Britain" which IS a singular island so saying it's "the british isles not the island of britain" is moot. He also didn't say "the longest steam train line", he said the longest *narrow gauge* steam line.
@mrblue1936 жыл бұрын
Who cares. You can bleat on about not being in Britain or a part of the UK as long as you want, but you're a crown dependency, and your head of state is QE2. You're independent as long as the UK government say you are.

You don't share our government or laws or island.
@georgebarnes81632 жыл бұрын
@@drrd4127 Hong Kong was never a Crown Dependency , it was a Crown Colony, learn the difference. People from the Isle of Mann are British by birth, get over it and you do not have to be from Britain to be British, people from Northern Ireland are also British as is anyone from any of the Crown Dependencies. I would suggest you do a bit of basic research before typing a load of uneducated drivel.
