I remember watching this back in 1995. In the outro to the show, Jools Holland refers to Ben Folds as a "pianist", and Ben nods in appreciation of the great compliment this is, coming from Jools, who is an amazing pianist himself.

My girlfriend at the time went to New York and came back with this album for me before it was released in the UK. We split up shortly afterwards. Happy days.

@finallyanunusedname2, there never were five, only three. I read in an interview that they called themselves "5" so that they'd sound like a bigger band when they were getting gigs early on. I don't think they have any need for two more - they seem to put out plenty of sound as is!

Sweet stuff. i love everything except for his voice. It's in tune and everything, just a little... nasally or something. But I would still listen to this all day. Piano playing is great, some of those bass lines kicked a**, and the drummer definitely knows what he is doing. Sweet stuff.

Tom Shaw yes sir, you are correct. North is also known as the highlands, whereas the South is considered the lowlands. And as an aside, those SC folks are really proud of their state! I see more palm tree and crescents on cars than any other state.
