Ben GBRf NEW PREMIERE!

Ben GBRf is back with a new layout and plenty of new footage. The last 6 months have been busy in my new role as Operations Manager for GBRf but I have managed to film quite a lot of interesting footage during that time. So sit back and enjoy as it's my privilege to share it with you all. All pictures and videos were captured from a position of safety!

Wow just an amazing video Ben, with some absolutely epic footage. The shunting at Bardon Hill springs to mind, and the top & tail 73's passing Wellingborough were also spot on mate. Finally the shots from the tunnels at Grindleford rounded the video off very nicely so all that remains to be said is welcome back mate, we've missed you 🙂 Regards, Colin.

Back with a bang! Excellent video throughout Ben, especially at Peak Forest and Bardon Hill. Nice shots from Rauceby too, not a place many people frequent these days due to mainly DMU's plying the route. Don't you just love the Fen Blow when nearer home, it never gives up does it.😀 All in all a very good watch, thanks for sharing Ben.

Absolutely brilliant stuff Ben, what a mix! Really enjoyed the amount of class 69 traffic we’ve had through recently. I had a smile at the 69007 & 66789 - we shot that the same day just I was further up the road!

Thanks James. Yes I noticed you caught the 69007/66789 duo further down the line. Couldn't miss that one when I heard it was happening. It is good my company are now working the 69s on some of the sand workings and the Whitemoor tripper. Something a bit different to the solid shed workings in our area. Especially as 60s are no longer on the Boston Steel.

Yes it's one of my traincrew depots and is used for our customer GRS to discharge stone trains from Tarmac quarries. It also used for Wagon maintenance. Thanks for your comment.

Hi Ben, excellent video. On my recent travels I captured a Class 67 and a Class 59 in GBRF livery but with colas stickers, any idea, are they on loan? Cheers.

Thanks for watching and commenting mate. So the 67027 is now owned by Colas after temporarily being owned by GBRf to see the feasibility of using it on the Sleepers. 59003 is on long term hire to Colas. We have allowed Colas to apply their stickers to the loco. coincidentally 66791 is also on hire to Colas but a more short term hire with no Colas stickers applied. Hope that makes sense. the 93 is being tested by ROG. I work GBRf. We don't get our locos until probably next year. Yes they will also be co-co and designated class 99. Thanks for watching and commenting
