Tom first met Ben back in 2019 and they didn’t speak again until 2023. Tom was on one of Ben’s Podcasts last year and at first they were joking about being with Tom on a song one day. Well, HOG and several of Ben’s followers actually really genuinely liked that idea and we started asking vigorously for both them to do it. so Tom and Ben ultimately decided that it might just be something good and they knew it would be really fun. He got six number one billboards just in 2023 alone in a row! “Facts” was number one on iTunes for almost 2 solid weeks. Tom has received number one billboards for holding number one on iTunes for less than that timeframe. And Tom has already gotten confirmation along with Ben both saying they have received word from billboard that they will most likely have a number one spot in the hip-hop category. One last comment, inspired by your comment on the “What would Ben do?”. Good point but, I give Tom a lot of slack on this joint because it was created as a vehicle for Ben’s alter ego, Dr. Dreidel (aka Jewpac) to get on a rap song. The entire song was built around Ben’s comments: The chorus: “Let’s keep it real man, *** Facts don’t care how you feel *** man.” Ben has spoken out about the social ills that rap often promotes: “… we won’t turn your sons into thugs or your daughters into hoes.” It really is built around Ben’s comments with regards to society. CNN sent a reporter to a san fran Walgreens to try and whitewash the rampant theft occurring there. But the reporter witnessed SIX blatant robberies in the two hours he was there. In my home city of Seattle, the Home Depot near TMobile Park and Seahawks Stadium constantly has people fill up entire shopping carts and casually stroll out the door. The employees are mandated they are not allowed to intervene or they'll be fired and possibly prosecuted. There are literally less consequences from blatantly stealing hundreds of dollars of merchandise than there are for being a decent citizen and trying to stop them from doing so. It's insane. And walking the streets you see dozens of people out in the open, using heroin as you walk right past them. It's a shitshow.
