Tom is extremely underrated as a rap artist. He's talented, musically gifted, and produces his own beats according to his mood. He can do whatever style of music he wants to do at the time. He's inspirational and truly independent, though, so he doesn't get the credit he deserves. Every song is an honest, inspirational banger, that's why Dax messes with him.

All three were fire but I give it to Tom because he also produced an amazing beat and a hard hard hook. Tom and Dax have been friends for years and have two songs together already. Tom sent Dax several songs to choose from for his feature and he chose this one. Tom and Adam added to their verses after Dax sent his verse back only to even up the number of bars each had in the song, but the concept of the song was already there before Dax added his verse. So no, Tom didn't up his game because Dax is on it. He upped his game because he's Tom and that's what he does.

My take on the shorts is like "Fresh Prince".. Carlton was the preppie in his matching tennis outfit with shorts. Will was hip hop but "moved on up" living with rich Uncle Phil. This plays off of trying to stereotype people. Tom did the backwoods country boy sh$$.
