I just don’t know what to say dude. You’re stronger than you think. Pretty crazy after all this shit you haven’t gone completely cold, it’s rare and shows a lot of strength. It’s easy to shut off emotions and pretend like nothing affects you. This is why being a hard user is only a small piece of the picture. Similar stories can be shown for many, many users, most users have faced at least 3-4 large hardships or enduring adversities in their childhood, and are often literally thousands of per cent-points more likely to be substance abusers. This is why the war on drugs is failed, failing, and bogus. Modern pollies even know this stuff or choose to ignore it when professionals present the info to them. We need to be wiser, we need to be smarter and remember these learnings going forward. Many of our parents have known this stuff in the past, but people forget as a result of collective societal amnesia. God bless ya Ben mate you’re a fucking fighter and it’s so good to have seen your development alongside your rise. I hope the scars of your past will continue healing and you keep growing yourself and putting your story out there, this stuff will one day play a part in creating big positive changes

You're the reason I get out of bed in the morning brother, I've had a similar life I spent my childhood visiting my family in max's on murder and heavy drug charges and running from them when they were out because you know yourself what these 130kg boobers are like when they are out. From the age of 6 years old I was ward of the state, hectic raids; had my own nan shoot at me and my mother when I was 8 years old because I didn't want to spend the night with her because she was having an episode. My whole family including myself are paranoid schizophrenics, I've been diagnosed with severe anxiety, ptsd and depression currently on bail under investigation and surveillance so my family won't speak tome because it is what it is and if you know, you know. I listen to your music every single day and support you 100%; give a fuck what anyone has to say about you or what you may think of yourself but to me, your a voice for me; for the kids like us that had a fucked up childhood. The kids that if my sister bashed me as a kid and I told my parents about it I got bashed for being a dog and she got bashed for being a bully. But keep doing what you're doing, keep fucking being you because it's made me feel okay to talk about some ill shit that I supressed for so long because I was labelled a weak cunt from my family if I spoke out about any form of feelings or not being okay. It's okay to not be okay, it's okay to feel like shit; it's okay to cut yourself up if that helps you because you don't have the confidence to talk to someone or don't have someone to talk to.
