Ben is one of the best portrayals of a nerd ever depicted in media, without ever looking like a stereotypical nerd. Any misconceptions that he's too hot to be a nerd vanish the moment he opens his mouth and starts tripping over himself. Best of all, Ben is also an inspiration for young adults who mess up bad and put themselves back together, without losing sight of the things they love. Ben is intensely pragmatic, but he wears his deep love for all things nerdy on his sleeve at all times. He's like the big brother we all wish we had. 7:46 Also, this remains one of the best scenes of all time.

I went to school for animation and it takes a really long time so I relate to his claymation project so much. I spent over a year on a project and it was only about a minute long. So 3 weeks for a 3 second clip in not unrealistic.
