This game is a perfect sample of "different strokes for different folks". I read the comments and some of them thought it was a boring match. Not me. I loved every minute of it. As much as I like watching, it doesn't compare to playing it. My three favorite racquet sports in order are racquetball, pickleball and tennis. I love racquetball and pickleball because of their fast pace. Tennis, well, you can't be a "lucky" tennis player. It's purely a game of skill. As far as winning over the audience, well, why would I care if I keep winning? Besides, those who love to watch the game appreciate greatness no matter what.

Not to mention, Ben John’s Table tennis experience IMO makes him so much more difficult to play against. That flick at 25:17 reminded me so much of a well placed TT shot.

The highest part of the wrist is below the highest part of the paddle. The paddle is moving in an upward arc. The other rule is that the ball must be struck at or below the waist. The waist is not precisely defined in the rules, but it looks to me that it is in the ballpark of the waist. The ref will always give the benefit of the doubt to the server, so this is a completely legal serve.

@@jamesmartenson8203 the rule precisely mentions the naval(belly button).. so it is at or below the naval in an upward motion following the point of contact.. that being said, Tyson has more wiggle room than people think. Go ahead and do a tennis serve i don't care.. unlike tennis, you really only have one shot(unless you're playing with lets in a different league).. with this sport rapidly evolving i think we need to embrace more of the *extremes or *rare shots that seem to give non-tennis and even tennis backgrounded players more of a presence on the courts.. a presence we as humans are more than capable of adapting to.. bring back the chain-saw serve i say, and the challenge along with it.

Interesting match. Rather than targeting Matt, the young guys decided to move Ben Johns from side to side hoping to draw weak shots and tire him out because of his busy schedule. At times, it worked and he looked tired. But in the long run the plan failed coz, after all, it's freaking Ben Johns!
