Ben is looking like a tourist in Miami. Loving the colors.

At this point they might as well put up something to block the wind. That was brutal. Hard to play in that much wind.

I’m glad it’s not necessary to watch the mixed doubles finals after watching this. Thanks for letting us know the results!

Why? You would just assume Johns/Waters would win easily per usual. Knowing there is a major upset makes it a must watch to see how it happened.

Staksrud just looked angry the whole game. And he made a lot of unforced errors. Needs to just calm down and get a hold of his emotions and he can win these games. Nerves got to him maybe? Can't blame the wind. Both players are in the same conditions and you have to adapt.

paddle smash was so unecessary, he is playing the best player in the world, if he can control his emotions he is one of the best

Absolutely no excuse for the score overlay to not be updated correctly until 4 minutes into the match. I know the score is on the big wall in the back but still, I love watching pro pickleball but it is embarrassing from the PPA Tour that most matches do not have accurate score updates or serves at all times. If the PPA wants to be taken seriously as a professional sporting tour they need to be on top of very basic things like these for the viewers. Other than that great match!

The tension was so thick. Makes for an uncomfortable atmosphere on the court. Maturity goes a long way in game play.

Damn I can still hear the echo from the Ref calling out the score every time. Somebody turn down the gain on the mic

This is a beginner, still learning the rules, but… When Ben makes contact with his serve, isn’t it a little high? I understood served are supposed to be hit/contacted below the waist, but he routinely appears, to me, to be at or slightly above his waist. Isn’t that illegal? Just asking, trying to learn.
@iagreewithyou1127 ай бұрын
The new rule is that you have to drop it from below your naval, you're not allowed to toss it anymore. Ben looks to be dropping it from around that area on most serves. Some might be a little higher but the refs usually won't call it as they're still experimenting with this new rule, and it's changing from tournament to tournament.

@@iagreewithyou112 In badminton tournaments a ref looks through an alignment glass to make sure it's served at the correct height which is below 1.15 meters.

How hard is it to get the scoreboard correct? Literally the most incompetent production team in any sport.
