In addition to the beautiful phrasing, the smooth technique, and the perfectly judged tempo, I very much admired the variety of tone color and intensity, ranging from the intensely present to the more relaxed and remote. Bravo also to the pianist---it must hurt a little to hear another instrument borrowing your repertoire so effectively!

I didnt feel about Chopin before, I am more into Bach and Schubert but this really touched my heart, what a great piece of art, so intense, dense and speaking. Great on Cello, makes me almost cry.
