Chopin is transcendental in the emotive electricity of his compositions. His opus magnum for me is Nocturne in D major, Opera 27, No 2. It has the properties of an appeal to raw emotions just as much as its therapeutic qualities take the composition beyond the realms of humanity to some celestial or more appropriately, ethereal heights. Chopin was simply the best as far as lyrical serenades are concerned.

What I, as a retired classical violinist truly appreciate, is that the intervals between these nocturnes in this video are short. So one can truly absorbe the different frequencies of keys. When i was in hospital recovering from many operations as a young child, Pachelbel - Canon In D Major kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJ3To6KwfMimbpI was what really helped me relax and increase my pain tolerance. Well, listening to Pachelbel - Canon on repeat plus a meditation technique my mum taught me which she learned I think from a book by a lady named Betty Shine. Its all about creating a safe place in your mind where its calm and you have pain killers that you can take. For me, I walk down a well lit corridor, the walls are a nice calming pink and the soft carpet was an orangey-red colour, (I'm a guy but for me, pink walls are calming), I walk up a spiral staircase and at the top is a circular room. Around the edge of half of that room is a couch, in front of the couch is one of those gumball machines, its an old fashion lightpole shape, its red with a glass dome top. Within that dome was not gumballs but instead all different coloured capsule pain killers. I can turn the coin slot and have as many pain killers as I need and sit back and relax in my calming space. Its a placebo effect but for me it really helped reduce the real pain medicine I needed, increasing my pain tolerance. I can still picture my room 30+ years later and I've used it many times in my life so far and will no doubt use it again. This article explains the technique in a very similar way. I hope it helps anyone out there in need of a slice of peace. aidanjreid.com/mind-medicine-room/

I knew I was three whatever that was,no brother yet. I knew I was bigger then I could properly describe but most of all I knew I was in love with these sounds. The occasional pop of the record and some back ground sounds of a pot in the kitchen accompanied me through the wonderful journey I drifted on. Will those feelings ever come back for me? I think not but I pray some where and time another three year old will be so lucky as I.

Music can be incredibly beautiful without words and in that case, it does become a universal language of emotions, pure and simple emotions played in notes that fill the soul!

Ja nie wiem, jakim dobrym pianista trzeba być, albo mieć wykwintne nerwowe tiki, żeby wykonać, grać te dzieła! Chopin, nieporownywalny do nikogo! 💜 Wielkie dzięki za udostępnienie słuchania 🥀! Wspaniałe dzieła muzyczne!

Here from Vietnam a Chopin's music lover. The way Chopin wrote about his music (piano) as a means of expressing emotion and passion really resonates with me. I often find it easier to tell my story by a piece of Chopin's nocturne than speaking it out. Still remember the first time listening to Tristesse in secondary school. I fell in love right away though it was pretty sad...

I love that he composed so often in the minor key! Even in his major key nocturnes, there are bits of minor key here and there.

Witam.. Uwielbiam Chopina , jego muzyka wyzwala we mnie najgłębsze uczucia. Czuję w niej polskie niebo , pachnącą wiosną ziemię, zieloną trawę, nawet przymrozki wiosenne. Czuję i słyszę pszczoły wśród kwitnących jabłoni. Muzyka Chopina jest wszystkim co powoli tracimy....

Bach lives forever. My dad held Bach music up to my mother's stomach every single day of her pregnancy, and I was born in 1978 with music before speaking. Grew up playing the flute thanks to Bach and majored in music education thanks to Bach. It lives on in our memories. Forever.
@enriquecancino75199 ай бұрын
Is this a misplaced comment? I say this with total objectivity because this video is not about Bach but about Chopin. These two musicians lived in two different centuries and places and I can't find any connection between them except they were both masters of their own art form.

The beautiful, poetic, sad tunes of Chopin’s music gave me a safe place of refuge from the global political, economic and social chaos! I truly believe Chopin is very talented and was experiencing difficult social and political turmoils during that time too!

I love Chopin. And these are my go to music genre when I need to calm my spinning mind and at the same time concentrate on something for a while. The AI generated and human edited text and art allow me to look at something interesting and get back to work. Honestly, it is almost medicinal for ADHD. I like your others as well. If you are the performer, Bravo!

Came across Chopin as I was looking for classical music to play for my days old child. These Norturnes are a gift from the heavens. My favorite has to be C-sharp minor. Child is only a few days old but this has been played and will continue to play countless amount of times. Previously I only listened to Rap music but this is so soothing that I can play this at home any time
