Alt at #3 is a no-brainer. Resign Owenu and you have a great start to fixing this offense in 2024. Bring in more coaches. More, more, more. They need a lot of help getting this thing back on track.

Baker Mayfield makes you a little better in the short term but is not a long term fix at QB. I don’t mind taking a swing trying to develop either Maye or Daniel’s even if you take the chance that they are a bust or the rebuild is a slower.

If the Pats draft an OL at 3, I'm close to supporting another team. We didn't lose all these games, and look forward to drafting a QB (Daniels, Maye) for us to select a lineman. Honestly, would be the end of the Patriots as we know them.

None of these coaching hirings are flashy, but they seem solid foundation building blocks. The Patriots don't seem to be a hot landing spot for young up and coming coaches because the team was threadbare after Belichick's departure.

If they are thinking of drafting ND LT Joe Alt. Why not see if the Chargers or Giants would make a trade to jump up to #3. You probably still get Alt at #5 or #6. You still have a great chance to get Jayden Daniels at #5 & a c good chance at #6. Then you also ending getting mire picks.

Justin Fields is a band aid not a permanent fix. He may be just good enough to get them to the playoffs but that is it. I’d rather try to develop a QB and if it fails so be it.
