Ben Moody is really talented! I never knew ...he plays the piano (well, not just banging a few notes), he's an amazing guitarist, he has a good voice and he writes really good songs! I always thought of him as just the other main character from Evanescence, but as a solo artist he's really really good. I'm glad he left ... simply because clearly he enjoys this, and now that they've gone their seperate ways Ben's talents are really starting to show! (not that I'm saying Ev/Amy held him back!) lol

No. Ben wrote this and other songs about it all WHEN he left Ev, it's understandable; he was hurt, cause he didn't wanted to do what he had to do in that moment, that's normal. If he has the need of talking about Ev is because the Evfans are STILL throwing shit at him everyday... and that's definitely not understandable.

Fact is Amy isn't the person we all thought she was. Ben and them are better off with Carly and solo careers. Let her keep Evanescence, after all she's the only true member left in the band. It's just an empty shell of it's former self.

It's alright, Evanescence was never as successful after Ben left, so whatever Amy wanted from the music industry, she'll never get.

Honestly "Fallen" is one of my most favorite albums of all time, and Ben Moody is a great song writer, instrumentalist, and vocalist, but Evanescence has become their own entity. Even though their music changes styles slightly each album they are still a great band. Yes, it is a shame that Amy Lee and Ben Moody aren't co-operating anymore but it was obviously for the best that the group split.

amy has never really confirmed that ben was that guy that abused her, but in an interview she was asked if "the last song i'm wasting on u" was about him she said:" i'm not going t answer that.. but i sort of just did, didn't i?" she has also said "most of the songs in fallen were about an abusive relationship " and that that song supposed to be the last one about him... well u can tell by yourself! just see the lyrics in"tlsiwoy"..she was asked if the song was a joke and said it was literal

Their ex-manager at least tried to. Long time ago (before Ben's departure) SUPPOSEDLY one of Amy Lee's ex-boyfriends abused physically towards her. But I do not remember if Amy ever confirmed that, and his name is unknown - what it's understandable, because of fear. Yes, she also felt "abused" by Moody, but it was emotional and psicological abuse.

I have seen Evanescence in concert 3 times. The first was with Ben Moody. He was very defensive on stage even calling some dick head in the crowd out for throwing something on stage and almost hitting Amy in the head. To me it just seems like Ben and Amy both wanted to take the band in separate directions but she had become the unofficial face of the band so it came down to Ben leaving. Now Ben has a chance to have a band the way he wanted Evanescence to be... with We Are The Fallen.

You know why I think he left? Shuan Morgan. He left sometime around when Shuan and Amy had already started dating. Poor Ben. He and Amy were made for each other. Evanescence is still a wonderful band, but it isnt the same, and not as good. Ben was a part of something now lost.
