Funny enough, even though I'm dark skin I've found that Ben Nye pretty pink adds a very beautiful highlight to the area just under my eyes.

Can you tell me which one you got? They have several pinks that's why I ask and all of them are not in the palette. I have banana and for some reason it darkens on me and I'm not a bright skin girl. Right now I just use the colorless powder in its place. But I was wondering how the pink would respond.

Advice: you can mix a half of each one so you get the brightening of cameo and the color correctiont of banana :)

The ELF High Definition Undereye Setting Powder is really good! It's really brightening, conceals a little and really sets your concealer in place. It does look like it has little glitters in it, but it doesn't show up on the face when you use a normal fluffy brush. It's a great drugstore one at only $3!!!

Great comparison! I own Cameo and I love it! I think I chose it over the banana because I'm so pale that the slightest yellow tint on any product shows up on my skin. I love the consistency of the Ben Nye powders though.

will it lock my concealers and foundation for my very oily skin? Also i live in a pretty hot and humid country 😕 most of my setting powder doesn't do its job and i looked like a grease ball at the end of the day. That's so frustrating! Most of the time i end up with a cakey face, especially around my t-zone, under eye and also on my lid.

If banana cancells out redness you could use that first then top with cameo.

There's also another shade called Rose Petal (for some reason it's listed as a separate product even though it's a Ben Nye Luxury Powder, too) available on CRC. It's pink and I prefer it because I have that porcelain-pink color skin and I think it's more natural looking as a setting powder for me. Although now I want to try the cameo shade. :)

After seeing your video I'm considering buying these! I'm a bit darker than your skin tone. Do you think I should get the buff shade for all over my face and the camio shade for under my eyes? Also does the sifter come out of the dome jar to be able to refill the jar?

I have the cameo color and the rose petal color. I am extremely fair with pink under tones, I'm an NW15 in Mac. The rose petal is pinker than the cameo and the pinker tone brightens on me better than the cameo. I hope that helps someone. :)

I got my Ben Nye from the same place. My reasoning for getting it in the dome containers is less mess, and for the price hard to pass it up. I haven't had mine very long and have used it only once, and it is something I will keep on hand for sure. Thanks for the info.

I'm wondering if you've used Pretty Pink and if you have what you think about it? I have medium/tan skin and I like to use it either to set my concealer or to tone down any make-up that's too dark or harsh. It's great for covering up or toning down if I've put too mush blush on.

I have Banana, Buff, and Cameo. They all look pretty good on me, whether baked under my eyes or all over the face. However, depending on the concealer I use with Banana, it can make my undereye area look a little dark. I see the prices went up since this video was made, just over a year ago! :(

Hey there, since u have both the cameo n buff, could you please help me decide...the buff looks dark on my underlies (I'm an NC20 in mac & a 120 in MUFE HD & can get away with using 010 & 020 in Christian Dior Forever flawless)for reference...should I chose cameo?

Calvin klien Hello, I'm not familiar with the Christian Dior foundation, but I use 117 in MUFE HD and NC15 in MAC. I've tried both Buff and Cameo under the eyes and both look fine. The Cameo, of course, is a little lighter. I think you can go with that, if you like your undereyes to look "brightened".

I have this issue too with choosing colors for my super fair skin, but I have a cooler undertone so tend to go with pink/blue undertones, but sometimes the yellow adds a nice glow...btw, your eyes look beautiful even without make up, they are well defined naturally :)

Hi! Do you think you could use these powders for overall setting? No matter how many revies I watch, Banana still looks too yellow for me, and I don't want to end up looking like a banana myself. now that Ben Nye has a neutral powder as well, bu I always prefer a little colour for setting my foundation. Hi there! I don't know your channel very well, so I am wondering what color foundation do you use? Also, because cameras alter skin tones, which are you? I am trying to gage weather to buy the pink or cameo. I use MAC matchmaker 2.0 with c3 powder all over face. I am cool toned pink/red skin with little yellow tone, for those with any suggestion as well.

Great review, I personally believe that things depend on the skin undertone. You can be extremely pale and have yellow undertones the banana powder is consequently better.

What about Cameo vs Buff? I currently have Banana and it's great for when I'm tan but I need something a little lighter for the winter. I tend to like something a little more neutral as opposed to pinkish bc I have some redness in my skin. Does anyone know anything about those shades compared?

Billie Jo Davis buff is more of a neutral undertone than cameo. I have both. Cameo has a pink undertone. I'd go w buff if banana works for you.

Lily Casas I find that the banana powder is awesome for covering up dark circles because the yellow counteracts blue and purple, but to give it more of a brightening effect I use benefit's high beam with my concealer. The pink and yellow together create a nice peachy color :)

If your undereye darkness is more blue than purple, adding yellow can give a greenish/greyish appearance.

Annie Oddo​ That is because you are also using a pink toned product additionally. I was referring to using yellow alone, to correct blue. Common misconception/mistake. Yellow is great for purple discoloration, not so great for blue. Just putting that out there, for anyone who may want to know. Knowledge is power.

I don't always use the high beam with it, just sometimes when I want a more brightening effect. I don't really get a bluish tone under my eyes so it's not a problem - also, everyone's skin tone is different and that always factors into color correction.

Try the Coty Airspun loose powder. It's really good. You can find it at walmart and I'm sure other supermarkets and drugstores.
