“Nothing changes if nothing changes” is a common saying in recovery circles. Also I think Rue Paul quotes that in his book!

Do you have Orange Theory Fitness by you? I would recommend trying free classes at Club Pilates and OTF if you do have one by you. I thought I would like Club Pilates but I didnt, but loved OTF. And it was cheaper for the plan I wanted. Just a thought!

I appreciate that you don't show your kids. There are so many creeps out there and so many people exploit their children online. I respect you so much that you don't show them

I don’t have children, but I do have 25 FTEs, and all I can say is, please…make your kids resilient. Routine is great…until it isn’t. At some point shaking up their routine allows them an opportunity to handle minor change, which grows them to handle major changes or things that are out of their control. So basically, what you said. I love your channel and think you’d make a wonderful, fun therapist. 💪🏼💕

I think it's so rude for ANYONE watching your videos, to criticize how you live your life, how you travel with the kids, etc. I mean OMG they have a choice to not watch your videos if they don't like your content, first off! And secondly OMG it's YOUR life! Who are they to tell you how to live?! That really annoys me. Keep Rockin It Jess! 😘😘😘

To the girl who asked about having kids: If you're truly thinking about it, DO IT. Because I am 58 and the biggest regret in my life is not having kids. I think about it all the time and it kills me. If you want to, and you can give them a good home, DO IT!

My parents took us on vacation every year. They would take a vacation by themselves and then they would take a vacation with us. It’s fantastic. I highly recommend you travel with your children. You know when I was younger we were poor and couldn’t afford a babysitter so if we wanted to do anything, go to the grocery store go to the movie go to get a bite to eat. We brought our kids with us. We did things that the kids would enjoy as well. Fairs things like that. And I feel it’s so important!

Something that helped me get started at the gym was to just make my goal “consistency” for the first 6 months to build the habit. making going to the gym everyday a routine was my first and only goal at that time and it took so much pressure off! Really helped and once I got a routine I WANT to build focus further on what kind of workouts, diet, etc.

Love this style of video! 👏🏻 I so agree about the workout thing, and making it routine. Working from home I realized I will NOT do it unless I leave the house (most of the time), so I got ClassPass last month and I am loving it! It holds me accountable to a schedule and I love group classes, so it’s really worked. ALSO, I do a lot of Barre (which is painful but gets way easier with time haha) and Pilates. Club Pilates is incredibly basic and easy compared to SolidCore which *will* kick your butt. But it’s a great workout!

I think your perspective of never regretting having kids just shows that having kids was the right decision for you. I will say, my opinion for the question asker - your kids deserve you wanting them 100%. It doesn’t always work out that way for everyone, but if you’re in this position to choose, I lean towards ‘not sure’ meaning ‘no.’

you know how some people just seem to have everything fall into place? turns out, a lot of them read Vibrations of Manifestation, and they swear it’s not just about positive thinking-it’s about aligning your energy with your goals. my friends who’ve read it seem way more intentional and grounded. finding the book is tricky, though-it doesn’t stick around long, but maybe that’s part of the magic

After hearing what you had to say about having children, it truly made me cry!! Right now my husband and I are trying to have our first baby, I’m having some fertility issues (I am getting help for that) but I just can’t wait for the day I get a positive test, if it’s meant to be. You really never know what hand you’ll be dealt

Okay, I had to stop the video and say… I’ve been doing Pilates for 22 years and I owe my body strength to that discipline. It is a lifelong practice, as with yoga, (but different) that builds and changes with you. You’re going to love it. 💪🏻 🤸

KZbinr suggestions ❤ Lucy Jane Wood: She does a lot of cozy vlogs, goes to Disney occasionally, and recently published a novel. Tasting History with Max Miller: Not a vlog channel but he makes and tries recipes from cookbooks throughout history and then does the history of that food item in the episode. He used to also literally be Prince Charming as a Disney Cast member. Caroline McQuistin : Mainly does cozy vlogs and lives on the Isle of Skye in Scotland , so her vlogs have lots of beautiful scenery. Cecilia Blomdahl: Also a cozy vlog channel, but she lives at the North Pole in Svalbard and has amazingly beautiful beautiful vlogs about polar night with lots of northern lights. Innkeeper Caroline: She’s an innkeeper turned baker up in Door Country, Wisconsin. She mainly does short form content, but it’s so interesting and features the Great Lakes region. Warms my little Midwest heart ❤️
