I've got severe internally rotated shoulders and this feels heavenly on my back
@ozildinho10 жыл бұрын
I tore my pec minor a year ago and the first thing the doctor told me when I took off my shirt was that I had too much anterior rotation in my shoulders (definitely not helped by having a desk job). My strength is back to 100% but flexibility and general comfort is around 75% since this injury. Great advice B PAK, I started this stretch since you mentioned it in one of your earlier videos and it has helped a bit so far.

My biceps started to grow when 1) I started adding strength workouts for biceps on off days 2) When I discovered the full range of motion of biceps starts from behind the back and ends above the head, and used resistance bands to train the full ROM. Never had this kyphosis issue that a lot of people struggle with so that was never a problem thankfully.

Full ROM on bicep curls do not go from behind the back or to above the head. Arm straight to your side and then curling until your bicep is fully contracted without moving your elbows is the correct way to go. In no way does that extend to above your head.

TheBaxxor You are wrong dude. This is Bpak expertise, not bro science.
@The111Spiderman10 жыл бұрын
Yeah bro just put you elbow facing directly up and squeeze your bicep it probs will cramp because it's maximumly contracted :)

TheBaxxor You need to see his biceps video.

TheBaxxor Bpak has a university degree in kinesiology. If he says it starts by hyperextending the arm, I would take that for cash.

I've recently been doing heavy rack pulls with my scapula retracted back and down slightly to help build strength up in the mid upper back. Has been going quite well and my core gets a good workout too.

Thanks Ben this video. I thought about an exercise you may like to research which is similar to the one that you propose here but it is perform in the Pilates Reformer and is highly recommendable for anyone who develop drop or round shoulder posture. Exercise: Pulling Straps on the Pilates Reformer (it also prevents the trapezius from firing, opening the shoulder join more freely and targeting the very fine postural shoulder musculature more effectively. Thank you so much for your vids & Keep the good work Antonio

Better late than never, Thanks Been! I needed this. My Delts and arms are over developed, over shadowing my Pectoral muscles, they just don't seem to fire. Hope this Moment shown in the video will help.

I have this problem. I am going to try this out today when I work out. I find myself slumping when I'm driving all the time and I know it contributes to this issue.

Isn't this basically the Bruegger's Stretch? He just has you do it sitting in a chair, a fit ball or while standing.
