The ticks might also be caused by his method acting in Dear Evan Hansen. He's in this play-as the shy and ADORABLE kid who has ticks that you have said. So, it might be because of all his continuous acting he has to do almost everyday, it can become dangerous though, and he may need therapy to regain his "post broadway" self.
