As a 90s kid growing up with all these 2000s QBs retiring now, its kinda sad. Makes you feel old and that is truly becoming an end of an era. That being said the new QBs on the horizon are exciting to watch and seem to have even more to prove.

perfectly put... I started watching in 2003 at 13, so I grew up watching these guys. The past few years with all the retirements, I was getting worried about watching the NFL, but seeing these young guns has proved otherwise.

Same here 90's kid. All the players I grew watching is retiring and or doesn't play no more. There just Brady and Rogers left pretty much. I feel like Rogers is a 90's QB but he a 2000 era player. I stop watching WWE around 2006 cause its to boring now and I don't know any wrestlers or whats going on. It's to fakey now and but anyways. Yeah there no more QBs that are out there,

I'm not a Browns fan, or anyone in the AFC north for that matter, but I agree on both points. His off the field issues shouldn't be ignored, no matter if he turned his life around after that or not. Which seemingly he has and i hope that it stays that way for all parties involved. With that being said, his on the field success and toughness and multiple superbowls and the tenure he had and stuck in there throughout the hard times I give him props for that. I hate that alot of these high-profile nfl players get a slap on the wrist for most of their off the field problems but if you're going to allow them to continue to play then unfortunately i guess it shouldn't hurt his/their, hall of fame status!

100% of serious football fans know Big Ben deserves to be a first ballot Hall Of Famer for an EXCELLENT career resume. Off the field, Big Ben was never charged or convicted of any crime. A player SHOULD NOT be denied (or even delayed) in getting in the Hall Of Fame based on ACCUSATIONS never proven in a court of law. And what's more, Big Ben's life since his 20's has been a total turnaround off the field. An all time great that ALSO reformed as a man. He deserves his gold jacket in 5 years.

Everyone knows that Super Bowl was one of, if not the most rigged SB ever (Don't pretend like it wasn't. He's lucky Bettis was on his team because that's the guy who really "won" that SB if u know what I mean). Ben is a 1x SB champion and he was very fortunate to win that one because it was in the '08 Season, the year Brady got injured, and we all know how the Brady-led Pats own the Steelers... That Pats team went 16-0 the year before and with Brady, they would've gone at least 14-2 at worst in '08. Ben and the Steelers still won that SB, but I just find it sad how they luckily avoided their kryptonite who not only continually beats them in the Regular Season, but also in the Playoffs (3-0 and would've been 4-0)

I think the thing is when compared to people at the time he came on to the scene brett then rodgers both had better arms. But comparing him to some of the guys now he ofc has more of an average arm. Rodgers was by far the greatest arm weve ever seen to josh and patrick making the game a joke.
@truth3412

@focodoco na. I can't cosign this Ben Roethlisberger had a cannon for an arm. Most of his highlights his him throwing the ball thru coverage or past guys. U can't play in Pittsburgh at heinz field with a average arm. I'm not even a steeler fan either. But this is crazy rewriting of history.
@itsthekid9815
@itsthekid9815 2 жыл бұрын
@@truth3412 it's not rewriting history. Rodgers 100 percent has a better arm than him. Then Patrick is just a different dude. He bombs it off of one leg across the body. And Allen is all about the arm. It's not rewriting history it's being real with the facts. Reggie Miller was a great 3 point shooter but klay Allen and curry make him look not as great. Dan Marino was the quote greatest passed of the football for the longest time. No its kind of a joke to say that. Sports and player evolve. That's why someone in the past is usually not as good as people in the future. That's kinda how time work. Ben's arm isn't as great compared to the 3 new arm talents currently.

I'm not saying he didn't get a little bit of a pass as a super bowl winning qb, but I do think you have to give credit to someone who does get their life together. The kid had an ego bigger than a country through his first few years in the league and made some very inexcusable decisions, but he seems to have come out the other end a pretty humble person I think. He admitted to his mistakes, took the criticism, didn't argue, shed some tears, and changed his life. I'll take that.

He was top 3-5 QB his whole career and He has the most game winning drives EVER besides Tom Brady. That's wild honestly

All time great QB. I think it could be argued he’s top 10 ever. Became consistently good statistically after 2006(won a SB, rookie of the year, and made 2 AFC titles during that time too), won a ton of regular and postseason games, and of course we know he won 2 SBs and made it to 3. Definitely an all time great and I think he would’ve won pretty much anywhere he got drafted- I think he’s underrated all time by some people.

I don't care about his stats and things along that line. At the end of the day what he is known for is he embodied what the Steelers were about. Grit, talk no prisoners attitude, determination, and he was hard to tackle in the prime of his career. He made gutsy plays when it was necessary. I mean, he was the epitome of what it meant to be a steeler. And I'm not a huge Steeler fan, but I grew up with Ben roethlisberger at the helm. To everyone who still won't let Ben's off-the-field issues go: There was an article in the Washington Post published just before the playoff game between Pittsburgh and Denver (when Tebow was the Denver QB) called "God's Quarterbacks: Tebow and Roethlisberger". Please read it. It goes into depth about Ben straying away from God and being irresponsible and immature in his first five years as an NFL QB and how he eventually changed his ways and became a better man. I'm not going to pretend that what he did wasn't wrong, but give the man credit for cleaning up his act and turning his life around.
