shazier's injury i have made the argument was the biggest in sports in the last 20 plus years, the steelers have been trying to replace his production ever since the night he was injured(and have had top 8 nfl team talent over the last 5 years)...with a healty shazier in the middle this top 5 to 10 defense depending on the year, would easily have been an afc title contender each individual season, plus you wouldn't have had to draft bush at number 10 in 2019...i truly believe that if not for the unfortunate injury, he would have gone down as the best middle backer in the history of the game and yes that includes ray lewis(he was much faster and ball awareness skills were about as good as you could get at the time of the injury)...and one last thing, in matchups vs the steelers main rival(baltimore) i also think that shazier would be an easy spy solution on jackson and be able to completely shut him down...ryan ran a 4.38 40 to lamar's 4.34 40

It’s crazy - I’ve had a pretty terrible stomach virus for the past three days & I feel like crap. The first time Big Ben took the field in this video, my stomach actually felt better!!!! I remember this game very clearly. As a 50 year Steelers fanatic, I think it’s clear that most of us took Roethlisberger’s greatness for granted & thought it woukd never end. I was born in ‘72 & my first Steelers memories are of Bradshaw, Lambert, Swann, Harris, Mean Joe & the huge list of 70’s greats. I then endured two decades of Cliff Stoudt, Mark Malone, Bubby Brister, Neil O’Donnell, Kent Graham, David Woodley, Tommy Maddox, Mike Tomczak, Kordell Stuart, Todd Blackledge, Steve Bono, Jim Miller, etc. before Big Ben arrived & saved our asses! God, I hope & pray that either Pickett or Trubisky can competently take the reigns. I’d LOVE to have another 15-20 year starting QB that can carry Ben’s torch without putting us yinzers thru another 20 years of hell!!!!

Three things that stood out in this video. #1. As s Steeler fan. Having the future Hall Of Famer Ben Roethlisberger as our QB coming in with an injured foot and seeing him throwing darts and the long ball to beat Cleveland. Having Ben on the field. We always had a chance to win. #2. How Special Antonio Brown was with the Steelers. If he stays. He's a Hall of Famer. 3rd. Having Ryan Shazier playing for the Steelers. How strong he is to come back from his terrible injury to walk and stand on the Steeler's sideline.
