Not all of them are that way. They are human beings, but acting is a business, and part of that business ( these days ) is holding the right political views, and saying the acceptably PC things. But why knock award shows? Really? Apparently, there is something wrong with a group of professionals awarding the best among themselves. But physicists are awarded by physicists; athletes are awarded by athletes (past and present); and musicians by musicians. How does that amount to 'marinating in their self-importance'?
