I live in Brazil. If you don't work as a police officer or something like that, it's pretty hard be allowed to have a gun. And I'm not talking about rifles, you can't even have a handgun. But still, in my city there are neighborhoods known for being home to a lot of criminals where you can see they walking around with rifles where even the police doesn't dare to enter. Every single day there's something on the newspaper about someone being robbed and murdered by gunshots. Gun control laws don't stop criminals from buying guns from other sources, they only disarm the good people.

They did a test on firearms when I believe it was California wanted 10 round mags for 'assault' type weapons..a retired police officer showed that a person with a 9mm hand gun can shoot just as fast as a 30round AR if you have the training to reload it properly.

If Kimmel wants to quit his show, campaign for a position in government, then win the votes of enough people who believe his positions and back him up, then I'll take him more seriously. I live in a no guns "allowed" country. And here are ym thoughts. Technically you ARE allowed to have a gun here. But you need 8 years of shooting practice at a gunrange with THE specific gun you want at home. You need a permit from the cops aswell as the goverment. IF you get the gun there's some requrements you need to fulfill. You need a gunsafe for your gun and another safe for the bullets. Needless to say most cops in my country don't even have guns at their homes. There are criminals in my country. Hells angels aswell as their supportgroups and muslim groups are the biggest two of these. And they all have guns!!.... It's not a matter of making guns against the law. It's a matter of getting rid of crazy lunatics who wanna murder people which is close to undo-able. The only thing you accomplish by making guns illegal is that good people have a harder time defending themselves against bad people. Cause' guess what, Jimmyboy!! Criminals don't give a shit if guns are illegal!!.... That's why they're criminals!!....

Mostly agree but the only problem with your argument is that the people who do these things aren't criminals... It's people who would be classed as "normal" citizens.
