The "groomer" thing is a very skilled multi-layered marketing move. You jump on the "ok boomer" sound byte to be carried. You can slide in the "debatable white-power okay" hand gesture as a nod to your roots. All while shutting down discussion and not requiring much time or effort. Say what you will about conservatives, they are VERY good at messaging, but you have to be when all of your ideas about the real world are bad for you and anyone that comes within a thousand miles of you. Conservativism is worse than communism, at least we realized there was a problem that wasn't on paper within communism really fast. Conservativism has caused much more tangible harm because of the insidious rot that spread. If bad governing systems are water leaking in a house communism was a toilet that overflowed, conservativism is a bad seal in a pipe joint that has dumped hundreds of thousands of gallons slowly down a single wall over years. We know conservative ideas are bad, we have books that tell us what life was like living under those policies: no one like it, lots of innocent people got dead. We lost one of the brightest minds that save countless lives in WWII because of conservative ideas. The middle east was a BEACON of learning, education, and technology. Till a religious conservative said "math is the work of the devil" middle east to this day has not recovered. We can way the pros and cons of spending. But this "social conservativism" isn't anything but vile and/or stupid people wanting to hurt others so they feel better. Businessmen, American Conservative policy is bad. Their argument of "get woke, go broke" only applies if you forget the point. You could have trans support for Gillet by having them shave differently then they used to. "we don't care which hairs you want to clean off, we've got your back, literally if you want." The messaging about "fighting the patriarchy" in cinema can be there, just make it an undercurrent or backdrop. You don't have to say the words, or add lines that don't fit like "i'm a strong, independent woman" it screams of desperation, instead SHOW that by her telling a friend not to stay in a destructive relationship. SHOW her balancing a bunch of different things with a montage. Use the tools in cinema to SHOW the message, and punch who ever in the writing room keeps demanding it be in the script. At best marketing to conservatives will give you an ever shrinking group to purchase products, worst case they'll end a old business deal because you didn't do enough bigotry. If you want a "neutral stance" go with a "we want everyone to purchase our products" it's honest and simple.

@@Jeremy-wp4yh Not specific, vague. Specific to the bill's vague wording sure. It is specifically made to stop LGBTQ+ mention in a classroom, but nothing for straight people. Can I ask why you're against it bud? What is wrong with a teacher answering a question from a student, telling their students about theirselves, establishing a connection. Why do you want people lying? Don't you want kids to learn? And do you think young kids can't think? Plenty of them have questions and such. Just admit you don't like LGBTQ+ people. Yeah like they had every reason to be mad? Their video wasn’t even about trying to change the rightists minds. It’s just them, rightly outraged at a shitty situation. Plus he said the black woman was being racist to white people? In a white predominant society where the whites have been oppressing black people for centuries and still ongoing, a black person cant be racist to a white person. They’d just be prejudiced and discriminatory.
