I purchased the cheapest Chinese 6 string I could find (Haze brand in Australia) for under US$275 and dammed if it don't sound very close to a lot of the more expensive ones. Even neck and frets were good. I might purchase this class as there are few out there for 6.

+Thomas “'tommy'” Kievit Can you still play everything you would on guitar? Like power chords and open chords or famous riffs like Stairway to Heaven? Can you play it through a guitar amp and make it sound good? Sorry i'm just curious as i've never owned a bass guitar before. Only guitars.

it's not a dam guitar it's a instrument for playing melody (yes) but not like a guitar take the melody from the motown jams a lot of melody but played not like a guitar the guitar was only doing quarter notes ever watch about the funk brothers it's not a dam guitar play it wright not this chord or this chord make up a melodic bass line like geddy lee or something

+Shaun Solomon no bad remarks you just don't understand that when leo fender made the electric bass there is no theory for it it's not an orchestral instrument so you get to play it any way you feel and it doesn't have a specific role try tell your bs to some one else you can cheat off any instrument in the band like many others have for years
@WoolleyGG9 жыл бұрын
+kenny cadarett "So you get to play it any way you feel" but still, morons like you will go around telling people what to do on the internet.
@greedygringoprospecting69419 жыл бұрын
+Daniel Woolley not a moron make a melody where you need no other help when you can express what you want to pay and carry a melody then you can play
@WoolleyGG9 жыл бұрын
You really don't know what you are talking about. Get the basic techniques down, practice when you can and learn anything that interests you. Assuming you know more than this man and the people interested in the video just makes you look like a bumhole. And your comment that there is no theory to it because it's not an orchestral instrument shows just how little you've explored the subject.
@sjeverett758 жыл бұрын
saying there was no theory when leo invented it is like saying there was no theory for electric guitar when Les Paul mounted pickups and strings to a 4x4 post. the theory for the acoustic version applies. Granted, it didn't take long for people to take these instruments to a new level, but the theory was there.
