The fact that you think of him as a guard is actually the problem. The 76ers tried to make him a PG for some reason despite the fact that he couldn't shoot in an era where guards NEED to be able to shoot. Ben should have been a forward. He WAS a forward and the 76ers inexplicably took the fact that he had decent ball handling and passing ability and used that to justify sticking his 6'10" ass permanently in the PG position. His career was killed in the crib.

it's not that he's not capable physically, it's a psychological issue and that's the worst kind of issue in sports. I had the same problem through a period of time while I was in sports. Psyche is more important than physical ability, you need to be relaxed and confident, trust in your abilities while in play, that's when you play good (This goes for every sport). If you're stiff because you yourself create pressure in your mind thinking how you're going to mess it up... you can be the most gifted player in the world when it comes to physical ability, you're not gonna play good in such state and people who are much much less capable and are right in their psyche will always outperform you. The worst thing about this is that it'a very very hard to overcome that strange pressure and it's constantly pulling you down but you can't escape it, your mind gets in a loop and you can't get out, every time you play you sucumb to that strange pressure and you simply can't control your body.

I said this when they first drafted him. He is going to be a lemon..... Anyone that's scared to shoot and then ridiculously scared to shoot a 3, definitely has no place in the NBA.... That's like telling me there are cops that are afraid to shoot their weapon.....

As a kid I always wanted to quit baseball but every year I said if I make the all star team I won’t quit and every year I made it. Ben Simmons seems like this with basketball expect he took it all the way to the nba.

i actually know a guy near where i live who says our bodys show pain based on whats happened in our lives or in our minds. ie a bad hip, lower back pain, etc

The worst part about this is that people out here working hard for money in the streets and they barely get paid, even though they make the world a better place, while guys like Ben Simmons is out here hardly working and making nearly 40 million a year. That's just sad. And I feel bad for the hard workers that love and care for this world and economy, but they don't get they same love from the world back.
