Gold, Coffee, Tourism and Oil are our top earners and not in Kampala. For the oil companies to invest in oil and gas, Museveni had to build over 750KMs of road in the Albertine and an Airport in Hoima as a precondition for investment. Andrew should get his facts right!

The base of the economy is agriculture not the urban economy. The more we invest in agric the more we broaden the base of the economy and upon that base, the manufacturing (processing) and services sectors are expanding and new rural towns are emerging.

Agriculture is our comparative advantage and had our policy makers opened their eyes fourty years ego, the money we would have made from agricultural exports would have made our economy take off into an advanced industrial economy today. They just jump on thi gs a d fail. It has always been trial and error throughout. They have wasted a lot of money on handouts programs yet it is vividly clear no society has ever developed by being given handouts.

Ugandas biggest problem is poor leadership, museveni doesn't care about development of Uganda as most dictators are, his sole agenda is to die in power, as long as he can award his cadres n make every one obey him at ensures his survival, the rest is all a charade n lies, if Uganda liberates it's self from museveni n kaguta family then this country will start to move forward
