That's a hard one. I am almost there and it is actually a lot harder than boogie, back kiteloop or late back roll. I started trying it a few months back and haven't landed a clean one yet. I would be hella surprised if you're able to stick it in one session.

I have been many times in the lagoon (also great flat water), but never try to ride on sea in of shore wind. Especially when the NW is not too much strong most of the time and without any rescue boat. You are brave :)

Haben nun eh schon mehrere Leute geschrieben, aber weils bei mir grad sehr aktuell war - finds krass dass du hier relativ "alleine" bei off-shore bedingungen raus gehst. War letzte Woche in Portugal unterwegs, in nem Fluss kiten, mir ist bei nem Windloch einfach der Kite zusammengesackt, komplett getangled gewesen, keine Chance auf restart und self rescue auch nicht ordentlich funktioniert, weil die leinen um den kite getangled waren.. - hab den Kite erreicht aber konnte ihn nicht flippen bzw, nicht als Segel verwenden.. (habs vllt auch nicht perfekt gemacht, aber in der Notsituation ist das nicht so easy, v.a. im tiefen Wasser). War froh dass mich dann ein Rescue-Jetski gerettet hat.. war kurz davor mich ganz vom Kite zu trennen.. Hast du davor gar keine Angst? oder wie bereitest du dich auf so Notsituationen vor?

Hi! Before to unhook do you depower your kite so it absolute don't stall when unhooked ? Or you depower it a bit, but you don't loose too much power (specially if the wind it's low...) ? Cheers!!!

I usaully fly my kite with as little depower as possible. But when it‘s gusty wind, I do exactely what you said. Depower it just enough, so that it flys stabile…

@@BenBeholzVlogs so you choose a bigger kite size but you depower it so you can ride unhooked with no problems.....!? To me it's amazing how you can ride in such low wind unhooked and after get in to some hp. I'm 100kg + so I should go muuuch bigger than a 15m to try to unhook....😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨🤔🤔🤔🙈🙈
