As a fellow cobbler where can the old style cork neoprene soles and heels be found. My shoe findings vendor doesn't have similar now days. I used to buy findings for Red Wings direct from them. In my early days I sold a lot Red Wings Pecos style 1177 which had this kind of sole and heel. I enjoyed your workmanship very much.

Why wouldn't you show a top view and a bottom view of the finished product?? The beauty of the Munson last is the shape of the toe. I clicked on the video to see the finished product and you didn't show it. Bummed.

Amazing work as always. But where's the midsole? In all the resoles I've seen so far, the cork is covered with thick leather. Live and learn, I guess 😀

In this case, the leather midsole is optional. The customer likes the make-ups of Red Wing Iron Rangers and thus decided to go with nitrile cork full sole without leather midsole.

Exceptional and impeccable resoling work. But it is difficult for me to understand why the customer asked for the replacement of the insole: it seemed, together with welt and cork, in perfect state. The customer would certainly have paid much less by making a made to order shoe, perhaps from factories like "Sagara". Anyway, the final job is perfect, and certainly better than before 🔝💯👍👏🔥🌈.

Thank you for the kind words. The customer requested to down-size from 9D to 8D, and thus we had to replace everything except the uppers. Hope this makes sense :-)

It's not always about money its not always based in logic! I know this myself! I send boots to Brian the bookmaker all the way from the UK! Its big bucks!! But I like my boots so much that the price is worth paying. Plus the boots are one of productions. After they are worn out I will need to take a pattern from them and start again. Never go cheap on your bed or your boots!! You know the score! :-)

Could you please "re-last" a pair or Redwing 875's on the 23 last to fit like a pair of Redwing 1907's on the 45 last. They are both very similar Moc Toe boots but the 1907's are a bit wider than the 875's and I cant get the 875's in a wide enough width to fit my feet.

Unfortunately, we don't have the No. 23 last nor the No. 45 last. But I remember Red Wing provides several widths for the 875s.
