Sin conocer que se podían reparar, yo tiré unas botas que compre hace unos 15 años,( nunca las use) la suela empezó a desintegrarse, cuando me las puse y pues las tiré, lástima. Te las hubiese llevado estaban muy bien de todo, sólo las suelas 😥😥

Are you using leather for the welt gap filler for most repairs now or only at the customer's request? Is it vegetable tanned leather like the midsole appears to be?

Yes it is, Regarding the first question, I use both but sometimes I run out of cork and I have to use leather, which is way better than cork.

Gracias, eso no se puede el cuero aceitado jamás se puede pintar!! La parte de abajo se hizo oscura por el uso y la mugre, la parte de arriba siempre está cubierta por el pantalon, jamás sufre desgaste!! Saludos
