Escape rooms are loads of fun, even if you just miss it by a few moments. My wife and I have done a ton of them; sometimes just the two of us, sometimes with our teenagers, sometimes with strangers who booked the same room. 4 is definitely an optimal number. 2 it is hard to get through all the puzzles whereas with more than 4 it gets to be too many chefs in the kitchen and often one person doesn’t know that someone else found a clue that turns out to have been vital to solve the riddle the first person was working on. 4 lets everyone help when needed or split to dig into different puzzles concurrently.

Eyewear, yep, sometimes I have to take my glasses off. Sometimes I need them and sometimes they do me no good...lol

Good job on the highlanders, agree about the 3 foot thing and also, no matter how many speed painting epic type videos are created, I think the truth is that the detail is there and they take longer to paint than one initially imagines. i am still unsure about that visual gap that happens between bases due to a 55mm strip going onto a 60mm base, I am thinking about trimming the bases back.

Cheers Norm, TBH the gap doesn't bother me, the men would be formed in separate companies on the the field anyway, so it represents that. As wargamers were conditioned to see Napoleonic units as blocks of troops, when in reality they weren't.

Do Mig not do tartan paint? You must have a go at the 92nd Gordon Highlanders next. I love the Warbases inserts, much better than what I had. Slowly replacing the 3Dprinted solution that I had been using.

Just purchased a heap of boxes from warbases. You should do an affiliate link for them and earn a bit from it, maybe. I had already ordered the full st of marker pens, they arrive Tuesday. Great channel, thank you
@StormofSteelWargaming3 ай бұрын
I would if they did them! There's not many smaller companies that do affiliate stuff, unfortunately. Cheers!

I haven't done much painting last couple weeks myself. Been more involved in trying to get one hex n counter game done, on Port Stanley, the invasion of the Falklands. Been heavily reorganizing my room, pulling a bunch of clothes for donations since I can't wear everything I own
