The one thing I wished you would have covered is aftermarket triggers for the Rock Island HC pistols. The SVI/Infinity trigger made for their billet steel grip frame works great in the RIA HC guns. It's the only one that does. The other makes are too long to work properly. So if someone wants a short or long trigger or just tg get rid of the skeletonized steel trigger that comes with the RIA guns in their RIA, HC the SVI is their only option. I have several of them installed and even one installed in one of the Hayes Customs RIA, HC that I purchased.

Correct, the SVI trigger was the best option for RIA’s. However, RIA changed the design of their trigger track area at some point and they no longer would work. So on older RIA’s SVI trigger is the best bet. But on newer guns, the factory trigger is best. We just don’t set them under three lbs because they are steel.

FYI, can confirm that Atlas triggers do not drop into a polymer STI grip. A little judicious filing of the shoe and it fits fine now. I wanted the shortest shoe possible as this gun is for my son and his hands are smallish. Atlas has a very short flat faced shoe as an option. Have not had any issues with the length/width of the bow. There is adequate take up. FWIW I agree on "drop in" not being a thing with 1911. Building an AR-15 is like Legos, building a 1911 is like fine scale modeling.

My father bought a western style single action revolver that has a trigger so lite I can’t shoot it. I own firearms, and train with my carry pistol regularly. He bought this pistol used and has learned to handle and use the pistol. If I shoot it I will get at least one un-intentional shot out of six shots. So I believe that some triggers are too lite to be safe.

What is my best option for a flat faced trigger for my Staccato C2?
@HayesCustomGuns9 ай бұрын
You can still buy the gunsmith blank trigger made for STI. It is extra long and can be cut to any shape/size. That is what I would suggest.

So like on my staccato p your saying not to put atlas or infinity trigger in it,it will give problems,kinda lost on that I see so many people doing that,mine is at 4lb which I’d like it to be 2 3/4
@HayesCustomGuns9 ай бұрын
Installing the above mentioned triggers can cause many new issues to arise. It is just way easier to keep the factory trigger. And the trigger job is just as good with the factory trigger.
