Everything you said about it was dead on. I really regret not buying one a long time ago BUT i'm happy with the sale price that waiting got me. Truly a 'hidden gem' all that power makes cutting so smooth and effortless. I'll be looking for reasons to use It any chance I can. With both of us leaning on them, Tyler and Mario won't have a chance, lol it's too good to overlook.

I'm really kicking myself for waiting so long to get it. The trim routers I'm using from MHPT, Makita, and DeWalt are great, BUT NO WHERE near the playing field this router is on.

I missed the last sale back in summer but was on Ebay looking around and got a new team red for $250+ because Ebay had a crazy 20% off on that specific item. Had to snatch it up, haven't even pulled it out of it's box yet.

One day i'll get the M18 plunge router to compare them, right now the cheapest I can grab one is like $300 after tax, and i've been searching. Consider yourself lucky, I didn't see them anywhere close to $250 sales included. Nice grab.

Dude I can’t believe I missed this bogo at Lowe’s I already have this router and I would’ve bought it again and just sold it cuz I’ve really wanted that adapter for some time but after they were clearanced them out of Lowes (they used to keep ‘em in stock an now they only ship em) but they were selling for anywhere from as low as 14$-45$ so now I just can’t bring myself to pay the price of 160 retail or 100 used price for it when I won’t use it too too often but it’d be nice to have for sure but nice review of a fantastic machine, the only thing that the Milwaukee has a leg up on the MHPT is the option of using that one handed strap or sleeve thing looks interesting idk how practical it’d be but one of them things you’d probably have to use to figure out if it was actually a real useful feature

Damn, yeah it's nice to have the adapter, but it gets in the way when routing, I use it on the miter saws, or table saw more often. Eh, I don't even one hand small trim routers, so unless there was some specific task that only allowed one handed routing to be done, I don't see a practical use. BUT it is Milwaukee, I don't see them not researching what buyers want heavily before dropping new tools....i'm sure they know something I don't.

Metabo HPT ergonomics have always been the best or close to the best in my opinion. Yes, being 18v without the option to do a 2x18v I was very curious about the power output. I can only assume running a FORGE battery will liven it up a little, but them you're talking Milwaukee $$$ money to get set up with their router. No thanks to that cost.
