I just wanted to tell you and you may never see this but I enjoy your video's so much. You and Aron are so blessed with your beautiful family. Your children , parents and family. Your garden is just amazing. I am 64 and am disabled and can't do the things I use to do. Gardening and yard work. I still ride my mower to mow and I hurt afterwards for a few days but I have to keep it up for my mental health. But on days I am down I go back and watch your video's and it just puts a happy feeling in my soul. Thank you both for these video's .

I'm hearing you. I'm 68 and thr old days of "yard work" are gone. This year I had to give up mowing the lawn, never thought that would happen ! I still water and feed my few plants. You're not alone with having to give up gardening. Laura and Aaron and family sure do add to out life's don't they! I feel as if I'm accomplished something after I watch her videos. So glad you added the benches for spots to rest and enjoy the beauty of that garden! I also keep imagining that area could be used to host a pre Prom “Walk In” (if your kiddos’ school does those!), where parents gather to enjoy a “parade” of their students and dates all decked out before the prom, to “ooh and ahh” over how wonderful they look, and get pre event photos. I can picture your family seated on the benches and your kiddos’ friends’ families gathered along the driveway and in the bench nooks, with cameras ready! I remember years ago, when I planted a crab apple tree in the front yard, I specifically chose a spot that would be “great for prom photos some day” and that day came FASTER than I would have ever thought! 😅

One is exceptionally devastating as our dear Jasper National Park along with the town of Jasper is experiencing a fire which has destroyed 30 percent of the town. Was thinking the same thing but she has cone shaped boxwoods in the corners so planters in concrete might be overpowering. Perhaps a thick half circle border of salvias and stokes asters in front of the cone shaped boxwoods? Not sure if it receives same amount of light as the opposite side of that border since maples are providing some shade over the benches.
