Please I know the comment section is 2 years old but I've been on a balisong Kik lately but probably 14 butterfly knives in the last 2 months and they're not no bullshit I spent a lot of money. And the odd thing is is I started out buying my first one saying my next knife is going to be a Benchmade and there I am 14 knives later still haven't added a Benchmade to the collection which is I'm a Benchmade fan so. Anyway this knife is online on a couple at a certain retailer right now for $317 shipped I almost have to buy it but I had to watch a video here to see if it's on bushings or bearings which it's on neither. No way I'm spending $350 on a goddamn washer knife that weighs 7 oz. And the damn 80 series you know it went up $100.

Great video man, Thanks! Picked up a 63 and I love it but I can see what you're talking about. It really needs tuning out of the box.

If there is hardware in the bench-made 6X series, can you sell it to me?

Would you happen to know how to remove the pivots from a 42? After removing the torx screws, the female studs won't come out.

have you tried a kershaw Atmos yet? just got mine today, its pretty great. Sinkevich on a budget is a win enough for me ;P shaving sharp out of the box doesnt hurt either

Do you apply loctite on yours zen pins or just on yours pivot screws..? Thanks
@FrenchBalisongRyder2 жыл бұрын
With my 63, small question for the balisong community, do you tune your zen pins or do you tighten them fully..? because if I squeeze too hard sometimes it freezes the blade in the handles maybe I need to remove a little tension in the zen pins..? so need a balisong technician please 😅🙏🙏🙏
@FrenchBalisongRyder2 жыл бұрын
ah ok you do one branch after another by also adjusting the zen pins.. in France it's either wshers or ball bearings so we adapt but they are not easy to adjust the washers + zen pins so I'm interested any advice..

Great videos!!! Do you know if all the benchmade 6x series are loctited in the factory?
@Lugermonger354 жыл бұрын

Hello. Is it possible to install a live blade on a Benchmade 62T balisong trainer? Thanks
@Lugermonger354 жыл бұрын
I'm not positive but I would assume yes there is no difference in a handle set or the Tang of the blade between the 60T and the 62 I cannot think of a reason they would not be interchangeable but that's something I've never tried

@@Lugermonger35 Hey do you recommend titanium balisong screw sets for these balisong types? Also is it possible to find replacement pivot screws for this balisong? Hey thanks again, sir.
@Lugermonger354 жыл бұрын
@@Biblicalgiants the titanium screws are cool but that's really all they have going for them in the 6x series they're lighter weight then steel Hardware which can be beneficial in certain lighter Balis where the weight of the hardware is enough to offset the weight of the handle like the 51 or the EOS serpent the 6X handles are heavy being made out of steel the difference in weight between the titanium and steel Hardware is not enough offset or impact the balance of the knife so they're cool but they're pointless
@Lugermonger354 жыл бұрын
@@Biblicalgiants as for replicant screws they're both Torx head screws bolts size T10 I believe and Benchmade is known for using a higher quality Hardware than BRS so I would not recommend changing them

I've been thinking about buying a 62. Should I buy it from BladeHQ or Benchmade? Benchmade is $100 for the same product! What's the difference?
@iRDude4155 жыл бұрын
Join the Balisong Knives for Sale group on Facebook, just wait a bit and you can get a 6x for $225-280 range.
@spacetoven84645 жыл бұрын
Dr. Gravity don’t buy a bench made balisong first hand, they’re super overpriced. You can get a new 62 on Instagram/Facebook for like $200
@Lugermonger355 жыл бұрын
Blade HQ you're right it is the exact same product pricing is complicated Benchmade has to have a high enough MSRP companies like Blade HQ can discount it creating competition in the market but because of that Benchmade has to sell at full MSRP which is over what you'll pay anywhere else
@darkgravity2375 жыл бұрын
FrenchToast I would, but I want a shiny fresh from the factory new knife and price isn't much of a problem right now, but thank you.
