I touched up the edge on my new Adamas and I really like it. I wear XL gloves and the Adamas is still comfortable for my large grip. The blade stock is thick and I like it. Those large washers are beefy. This knife feels so solid. I’ve retired my Griptilian in favor of my new Adamas.

Have had one for a number of years. I now strap it on the shoulder straps on my 511 back pack. Large, heavy, too heavy for EDC but great for a bug out bag or military load out kit. You can expect decades of hard use from this big boy.

I'm starting to think people just buy this knife just to fidget with it and because of how cool it looks. It seems like most reviews where people rarely put it to use show the Adamas's axis lock easily failing with light pressure to the spine.

Anyone have advice for me on this knife. 2 things. The pivots screw cant even be snug without the blade binding... The blade is not centered. I've disassembled the whole thing and oiled it and nothing has worked... if anyone can help it would be much appreciated

I noticed that the Adamas pivot goes in the opposite way unlike most other Benchmades. Does it matter? I like the screw on the same side of butterfly.

I really really want to like this knife but the t6 screws really make me think twice. Does anybody have an opinion on Benchmade t6 screws? I've stripped out other brands (my fault I know)!

I can see the appeal of this knife. But, being "eefier" than most large pocket-knives begs the question (for me)...should I not be using an axe? A machette? For this "hard use task"?? How does one know how rough we can be that's "reasonable"..... I suppose just do with the Admas what we'd do with a Griptilian...just more of it....Batoning--bd idea with any pocket-knife. :) Foresee batoning? Fixed blade. :) Or maybe having a Adamas is just extra reassurance...? :)

The new Adamas fails at the axis lock when the knife experiences impact. Batoning or even just hitting the butt of the knife on a table fail the lock. Too bad, otherwise it’s a beautiful knife. Stay away until they fix the problem (stiffer omega springs or deeper axis recess or both!)
