I have that one and I moved the springs and it’s so much better for me personally. Love the feel of the micarta and I’ve been just dropping this one in my pocket…hell my chapstick is heavier. It’s really cool

I bought a bugout 3 years ago I just got this knife and it’s perfect for my needs I like it more than the bugout personally the longer I have with it I’ll only like it more , if you want a bugout I personally would steer you to this , Benchmade your paying for the name this is great steel and material for the handle it’s a great price for what it is . I’d definitely give this one a try .

Benchmade wants $400 for S90V and aluminum. They care more about milking their hardcore audience dry by coasting on name recognition.

Benchmade doesn't have anything to worry about, they'd never see those sales anyway because their pricing is way too high. Just like pro photography, pros always want to complain that amateurs are taking the jobs. But...they wouldn't take those low-paying jobs anyway so they aren't losing anything. Benchmade doesn't want to be realistic with their pricing, pricing standard-at-best knives at ridiculously high prices...they'll never see any difference because they'll never hit the right market.
