I had this Knifeworks exclusive 810. I foolishly sold it when I trimmed down my collection. Out of everything I sold this is the one I miss the most.

Someone gave me the second one recently as a birthday gift. I’ve got to admit, it’s definitely the coolest folding knife I’ve ever had. Glad it was as a gift, I never could afford Benchmade knives. Now I don’t have to. 😁

Always liked the Contego but have never owned one. Very distinctive looking blade.

Very nice! I love my Contego. It really is a great knife. I do wish I had the black blade like yours. Mine is gray. Oh well, cake or ice cream. Both are good 😁

Nice review as always! There are three Benchmade 810-1401’s like yours on EBay right now from $199 - $399. The exclusives/ sprint runs carry a nice premium resale value. BM made a fixed blade version too, the 183.
