I purchased both the full-size and mini crooked river. The full-size goes in my elk hunting bag, the mini works extremely well for whitetail deer and smaller game. If anyone is looking for a great field dressing knife these are the route to go. Careful they slice exceptionally well

I purchase both the full size and mini. Carry the mini for edc and take the full size when hiking or camping. Love both.

The Crooked Rivers are excellent. I own a Mini CR from River’s Edge Cutlery and love it. It’s comparable to a PM2 and would suit you.

I normally don’t like the mini versions of things but I was interested in this knife and I’m definitely going do the mini now lol

Never held the full sized Crooked River but the Mini isn't all that mini. It's about the size of a 940. Excellent ergos with an outdoorsy feel. Think you'll like it.

That’s a beast. Do you know what the grind on it is? The way you described it as thin behind the edge makes me think hollow grind

Nope just a flat grind. It’s done well though.

Man I loves my crooked river one of my friends who is obviously not a friend scumbag asked me for a.ride home from work had.my knife in the car needless to say he stole my knife.
