People are giving you a hard time about this review, but I appreciate you making it. Benchmade is out of my budget, so I've been looking at this knockoff, and you are the only person to review it that I can find.

A family member hot me this as a birthday gift bc i love benchmade and i wanted this knife to put on my belt during deer season that way I have a blade if I shoot something in the mountains and didn't take my backpack. I loved it and was so happy. Then I found out it was a clone lol. Whatever steel they used tho is really good!! So I had to buy myself a real one, but i carry the vlone bc of the sentimental value. my cousin got ripped off 200 some bucks so I always carry it hunting!!

When it comes to Benchmade, I really don't care if they get copied. I wouldn't buy a copy, but I wont condemn anyone doing it either. Benchmades prices are ridiculous. They know they overcharge and they aint ever gonna stop. That's not ethical, so if some other company wants to go against ethics, and "borrow" designs, well, it is what it is.

Generally, any company using the same steel isn't far off Benchmade prices. You think microtech is overpriced too?
