@gonzalez7805 exactly. Sharpness out of the box is hit or miss, too. Some are razon sharp. Some won't cut a wet paper bag.

I enjoyed your video , I too have purchased many Temu knives,Gerber,Sog,and cold steel knock offs.Every knife I bought for the price,has been worth it.We buy knives for the aesthetic looks and purpose.Brand names aren't what they used to be,companies buying out companies,designs USA, parts foreign,assembly some USA some overseas thats why prices go up.A good knife is a good knife.

Great Review! You provided so much info about the knife dimensions...handle, blade, cutting edge....that buyers want to know but that so many reviewers don't provide. Plus....even though you (justifiably) want to NOT be the Temu Knife guy, I think this is a niche market that is unexplored by other KZbin reviewers. Subscribed!

Essee 3 and the Benchmade leuku are the tan handle micarta and green rubber handled one. I've been wanting the green handled one forever but it's around 160 or so atleast. These blades would be ideal for someone that wants to dip their toes in before taking the plunge for over a hundred bucks. Benchmade also makes the smaller brother to the leuku and it's the puukko and I've heard they're both great knives.

I have both the Leuku and Puukko and i can confirm they are superb knives, thw grind was abit asymetrical on the puukko but nothing a small sharpening cant fix

All the BM counterfeits are rubbish steel and often not even tempered, the clones however tend to be pretty decent. I think you called it well as D2, seems to be the goto steel for clones. I own several and it wears and sharpens just like my legit D2 knives.

I use capcut to edit on my phone. Very easy to add text and more to the video. I have only been using my phone for all my videos, and capcut lets me edit photos to make thumbnails and I can put multiple videos together easily (like putting my intro, etc). Thanks for sharing these! That green Boker Muk clone looks good, as does that sdokedc you showed 1st.

I'm not sure what to make of Huangfu knives. I have a couple and they seem to be decently made. They do advertise inferior steels on their knives and this tends to make you want to believe their higher level steels are true. After testing a claimed cpm3v, I very much doubt it. This is my greatest bugbear with Chinese knives after downright copies, just tell us what the true steel is and we can make our minds up on the rest

Thats a copy of the ESEE-3 or ESEE-4. I think they only did 2 screws to not be so obvious.
