To fix the “ringing” in the clone just take it apart and put a dab of grease on the spring. That’ll fix it and make it sound like the original knife.

Oh now I can tell the difference. The clones are the ones that look good. Thanks for the review. I'll stick with DHGate.

Only problem is when you don’t know the difference between them. Unfortunately I have lost or misplaced many knives over the years and prefer to loose the cheap ones. Although it should not be legal to print patent numbers and trademark logos and names if it’s not legit.

Anyone have link for the newer, lighter clone? So many to choose from on wish.

Type in Benchmade infidel clone and it will send you to dhgate. It's direct from Chyna. Disclaimer I've never purchased from there so I don't know. I hear yters talk about it when talking about clones. Search "Benchmade infidel dhgate"

I bought a clone infadel off wish, and it had the exact same markings and color as your real one, only difference was mine was 2 toned color on the blade, black and silver and uneven black, and it said D2 on it. And it makes that springy ting sound too! It was only $14 bucks. I was curious how it would be. Oh, and it was a brick, too!

I just bought 3 fake Benchmade knives from China. 2 came in and 1 will be here early this week. I got 2 autos, one is a Claymore {which is the one I'm waiting on} the other is the Stimulus {which I have} and an OTF wood handle. I don't like OTF knives in general, but I figured for just under 20 bucks, why not? Naturally it broke the second day. The first time it broke the blade would fall in and out from tipping it up and down and the it fixed itself lol, I shit you not. Then the trigger {?} just wouldn't move later that day after I just made it go in and out. I took it apart and figured out the problem. Fixed it, worked a couple times and broke again. This time I out Loctite on the two ends of the spring {the clasps for lack of better term}. They kept popping up and blocking the trigger. It's currently drying so I'll find out soon. If it holds, the knife "shouldn't" have anymore problems at all. We'll find out soon enough. The Stimulus is fantastic. A coworker had one so I looked it up and bought one. It's excellent. After so many times opening, there was a tiny bit of blade play and I had to tighten the pivot screw so I put Loctite on it as well and set it perfectly. Still giving it some time to dry, but that should do it. Otherwise it FLIES out of the handle and I absolutely love it. Probably not as sharp, but for a knife I'm going to use and carry, it's sharp enough. Plus I have a sharpening stone kit if I need to make it sharper. The original was like 200 bucks a few years ago! I would never use it. I bought ONE $200 knife, a Buck 110 automatic and it's by far the sharpest knife iver ever seen. I've cut myself a couple times and two people I showed it to cut themselves once a piece lol. I never use it. For anything. I'm afraid to. $200 bucks is a shit ton of money to me as I'm broke as fuck. I put it away and it still has swirls on the brass now and scuffs, the leather sheath scratched the brass and the brass started turning colors! For 200 bucks I expect better than that and I was let down. There are a couple 200ish dollar knives I plan to buy, but that's it. I will lose my mind if I spend 150+ bucks on ONE KNIFE and something, anything happens to it. I may as well use the Buck if it's gonna get fucked up anyways without me even looking at it! I see you only got a couple hundred subscribers. Myself, I haven't even hit 1,000 yet so I'm gonna subscribe too. It's only one, but every new subscriber helps! Thanks for the video!

For the record, I was disappointed in Benchmade until all the facts came out. It's not that Benchmade is anti-gun, it's that they're pro law enforcement and under state law the seized firearms were required to be destroyed a certain way and the state didn't have the tools to efficiently dispose of ordnance steel. I get that there's probably seized guns that it's a cardinal sin to cut up, but at the same time I like the fact that I know that my guns don't have a body or ten on them. If you want the guns auctioned, petition your state legislators. It could be a source of revenue. I currently own all of one Benchmade knife but I'd love to have an Infidel in S30V since Kansas allows automatic knives. I'm not willing to buy a counterfeit just for the aesthetics though, and my wife probably doesn't want to find out I spent more than I've paid for some of my guns for a knife when I have a good collection of blades. Appreciate the videos pointing out the fakes. I hate counterfeit goods, I got a forgery antenna for my VHF/UHF radio and I can yell farther than it worked. I like my stuff made in the US, by small business or union workers, with a warranty and pride of ownership.

The choice is yours, you can spend a lot of money to stab someone (Benchmade $200+) and go to prison, or you can spend a little bit of money (Chinese knockoff $12) to stab someone and go to prison. Make NO MISTAKE: If YOU use an automatic knife to defend yourself in ANY kind of situation and you are NOT a law enforcement officer, you are going to be charged with intent to do bodily harm, for use of a deadly weapon and for charges you didn't even THINK applied to you. Learn to defend yourself with your hands and feet, learn to use a pen, a pencil, a key chain or a hairbrush, something NOT normally considered a weapon. If you carry a pocket-clip knife for your job, leave it at home when you go to the bar. Otherwise you might reach for it in a fight, OR someone else might reach for it and stab you. ''INTENT'' is a HUGE factor when deciding who's going to prison and how much time they will do.
@LucidDreamer543213 жыл бұрын
Are you implying that potential criminal charges would be different for an automatic knife compared to a manual knife? If so, what is your basis for that idea?
@blackbird56343 жыл бұрын
@@LucidDreamer54321 An automatic knife implies ''intent'' in the eyes of the law. You come home from a hard day's work with a single blade-pocket knife clipped to the utility sleeve on the side of your jeans and are assaulted in your driveway, you MIGHT be expected to reach for it in a moment of fear to defend yourself. This is VERY different than keeping a "tactical automatic stiletto'' -(the SAME kind used by SEALS and Rangers in the field as advertised.) in your pocket when you go out on the town ''just in case'' you run into trouble. AND, its VERY different than say, if you find a stick on the ground and use THAT to defend yourself. Now you see what I mean? "Intent'' in the eyes of the law is huge.
@LucidDreamer543213 жыл бұрын
@black bird I challenge you to provide a link to a reliable source in any of the 36 states in the USA where automatic knives are legal to show that the legal system in that state classifies the carrying of an automatic knife as "intent".
@LucidDreamer543213 жыл бұрын
Do you have any proof to support your claim, or did you just make up this idea in your imagination?
@LucidDreamer543213 жыл бұрын
@black bird You claimed that an "automatic knife implies intent in the eyes of the law". I challenge you to cite one incident in which a person was legally carrying an automatic knife and one or more persons in the legal system viewed that as "intent" and took action based on that view. Post a link to a reliable source for your citation.

Steeling money out of people's pockets you say ? $20.00 vs $500.00. I say selling a pocket knife for $500.00 is steeling money from people's pockets.
