Many factors that affect precision and accuracy are longer duration conditions, hence why OPUS decimates to 30 sec interval. The 5, 2, and 1 hz interval can accentuate less than ideal conditions. Many factors associated with your test can't be relayed in the short video, I'm sure. The scientist in me says you should have had 4-5 instruments running at the same time using different logging intervals so the local conditions would be identical with each datasets. Hi, that is correct. This is by no means a scientific study, I was hoping to give at least an idea of what you should do when recording static. Ideally, I would as you said have had enough instruments to run each interval at the same time, to ensure all the satellite configurations were identical. Unfortunately, when I was working on this video this summer, there was a receiver shortage, and I could only spare the one receiver. I am currently working on a battery life video where I am testing three receivers at once. Let me know if you want to see anything specific.

@@mlbrack Battery video will take a couple of months as I want to test the battery life during winter on -30 C days. I am also going to have to figure out some kind of system to test the battery life at a hotter temperature. Unfortunately winter is setting in for the next8 months here in Canada, so I am going to have to get a little creative for the heat portion of the test.
