I don't think there are many alternatives. There is one for use in the USA called BenchMap. It is for Android devices. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tsqmadness.bmmaps&hl=en

Hi Ben, We have contacted the developer to get an update on their plans to broaden the software for the rest of Australia. I'll get in touch once we have some useful info to share. If you find any alternatives in the meantime - we'd love to know!

@@MangoesmappingAU Mate!!!!! you are a legend, thank you so much for that. Stephen has been in touch with me and I have just installed a test version of the software. It looks great, am looking forwards to testing it out in the field.
