Base Shift is a handy feature we use if we need to place our Emlid GNSS base station in a location that is not over a known point.
In this example - we want to have our base station in an elevated location to improve the distribution of corrections. Unfortunately, the the Permanent Survey Marks are located in a valley, so we use Base Shift to get our elevate base working
