Coentrao missed a lot of time due to injuries, not cuz he was a benchwarmer. When he "wasn't fit" it was due to him having not properly come back from injury and never hitting his former form. He might have ended as a bench warmer I will still fond memories of what he did for Madrid. Especially that cross for the Benzema goal in the 1-0 win against Bayern at the Bernabeu (5-0 aggregate)
